Adagio was still sitting on the old mattress combing her curly orange hair with a dirty comb she found in the trash. She stared down at a broken piece of glass with her magenta eyes. She heard footsteps and looked up to see that it was Aria and Sonata heading her way.
Adagio stood up. "What took you two so long? I was waiting for---" She stopped her sentence when she saw Sonata's eye.
Aria was holding Sonata's face against her chest as she sobbed quietly. Aria looked away, she couldn't bare to see her in so much pain.
Adagio walked closer to Aria and Sonata." How did this happen?"
Aria explained what had happened to poor little Sonata's eye. She tried not to shed a tear while explaining.
Adagio cupped Sonata's face with her hands and stared into her magenta eyes. " I will find the person who did this to you. And I will kill him." She grabbed the broken piece of glass on the floor and put it in her pocket. " Lets get some rest now. We have a big day tomorrow."
They all curled up on the old mattress and fell into a deep sleep.
Adagio woke up in the middle of the night from a nightmare, but it was just another dream of her defeat. She sobbed quietly. She knew how bad their life is without their pendants. They have nothing, it was like part of them was missing. She tried to go back to sleep thinking about the pendants.
It was now sunrise and Adagio left the mattress to get medicine for Sonata's eye. Since she didn't had any money, she had to steal money. The only way she could get money without being caught is using her alluring looks. She may not be able to sing but she still had her charm.
A guy with money in his back pocket holding a map looked confused. He was the perfect target to seduce.
Adagio walked up to the guy." Hi. You look lost. Want me to help you?" She said in a flirty way.
The guy stared." Uh..um..yeah. I was having some trouble trying to find SugarCube Corner. I kind of just moved here."
"Oh, I think I can help you with that." She twirled her hair.
"My name is Thunder, what's your name?"
"I'm Adagio Dazzle. But you can call me Adagio." She blushed. "SugarCube Corner is right around the corner."
He laughed."You made a pun."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah well its right over there."Adagio pointed in the direction of where SugarCube Corner was.
"Hey..um if you're not busy right now..would you like to join me?" Thunder asked very nervously.
"I'm flattered really, but I really have to get going." She looked away.
"Oh um. okay. I guess I'll see you around." As he walks away, Adagio reaches out and grabs his wallet without him knowing.
"Lets see how much he's got." She digs around the small brown wallet.
Adagio went and bought the ointment for Sonata and an asprin for Aria because she complained of having a headache.
Sonata was still sleeping and Aria was throwing up. Sonata's eye was still swollen, but didn't hurt as much.
Adagio rushed to Aria and started to rub her back. " Are you okay Aria?"
"NO! THAT STUPID GUY GAVE ME ROTTEN FOOD!" Aria screamed as she coughed.
Sonata began to wake up.
"What guy Aria?" Adagio questioned.
"He had brown hair and a dark green hoodie." She exclaimed.
"That was the same guy who punched me in the eye and stole the money." cried Sonata.
Adagio quickly rushed to get her purple hoodie and ran out of the alley. She saw the guy with green hoodie. She puts the hood over her head and tried to approach slowly and quietly.
She pulled the hood of his hoodie and dragged him to an alley different from the one she was living in.
"Who are you?! What makes you think you can hurt my backup singers?! There the only ones I got!"
"I'm never telling!" He protested.
Adagio pulled off his hood and took out the shard from her pocket and held it against his neck.
"My name is Crasher Chad, I like to do bad things to people. Especially if they were already having a hard time." He smirked.
"But I would never do anything bad to you. You're smoking hot."
"If you want to live, you better get our money tomorrow. Right here. And don't think about running away, I know what you look like." She pushed him away.
Crasher Chad ran.
Adagio walked back to the alley Aria and Sonata was. Aria was rubbing ointment on Sonata's eye.
"What did you do?" Aria was covering back the ointment.
"Just had to take care of something." Adagio took of her hood and climbed onto the mattress.
"Did you kill someone?, you had that crazy look in your eye." Aria glared.
"No, and I did not have a crazy look in my eye. I'm not a psychopath Aria."
Sonata was caressing Thunder's wallet. "Where did you get this from?"
"Just some guy of the street."
Sonata opened the wallet. "Its Thunder Ash's wallet. He must be sad, and ash."
Adagio ignored her idiotic comment and started to fall asleep.
