Part 8

Ever since that day, I've been living like a complete badass. I feel bad for letting go of my dad, but it was the best choice I've ever made. I miss him but I know that I shouldn't. Mary-Lou has been a huge help with Juliet. I took her out of daycare and let her stay at home with Mary-Lou during the day. I started doing influencing on Instagram and I'm think of writing some songs...

I don't know though. I filed a report at the police station against my father and the court hearing is in 2 days. I'm super nervous to see him again. On the other hand, my close friends Asher and Roxy are coming to Boston!! I haven't seen them since they moved away in 10th grade. Our friendship circle included them, the triplets, Madi and I in school. We were just tight like that. 

I really miss my dad, but I had to do what I did. It was for me and Juliet.

Chris and I were chilling in my room when I got a text from Roxy

"Chris, we gotta go" "Mk" he got up and called Nick and Matt. I grabbed a hoodie and my car keys and we made our way to the airport. The drive was long so I gave Chris AUX because Nick was going to take a nap. Chris sat in the front seat next to me and Nick and Matt were in the back. Nick and Matt fell asleep quickly, which is weird because they normally don't sleep in the car. After 10 minutes a Taylor Swift song came on so I turned it up on max volume. 

"I STAY OUT TOO LATE! GOT NOTHING IN MY BRAIN! AT LEAST THATS WHAT PEOPLE SAYY, MHM. THATS WHAT PEOPLE SAYY MHM! I GO ON TOO MANY DATES! BUT I CAN'T MAKE 'EM STAY! AT LEAST THATS WHAT PEOPLE SAYY MHM! THAT'S WHAT PEOPLE SAYY MHM! BUT I KEEP CRUUUISING! CAN'T STOP, WON'T STOP MOOOOVING! IT'S LIKE A GOT THIS MUUUSIC IN MY MIND SAYING IT'S GONNA BE ALRIGHT!" I screamed the lyrics to the song with Chris. Nick and Matt were woken up by our loud voices but they soon joined in. I LOVE THIS SONG!

After the song ended we laughed together. We do these kinds of things regularly, but today just felt different. I felt alive. I felt free. I smiled at the thought. "We're here bitches!" I shouted to the back of the car. Nick and Matt groaned at me and we made our way inside. The wait wasn't long until I saw my friends walking through the gates. "ROXY! ASHER!" I yelled as I ran up to them and jumped into Roxy's arms. I hugged Asher and we walked over to the triplets.

"you were damn excited girl" Roxy said, I giggled at her. The triplet's hugged Roxy and Asher and we walked back to my car and drove home. When we got home they dropped their stuff in my room and greeted Mary-Lou. We decided to go for lunch or something since it was only 14:30. Matt drove us to McDonald's and we sat inside, waiting for our food. We used the time to catch up since it's been awhile.

"Sooo...Ana..." Roxy turned to look at me as she slurred out her words. "Are you and Chris dating yet?" "WHAT?" My face grew red and I shielded my head in my arms as I leaned on the table. "What the hell?" Chris didn't seem too bothered about it, more...chuffed? I looked at him to see him smiling ever so bright. "Yet?" He asked, I punched his arm. "No Rox, it's never going to" I said, "okay then" she replied. 

Her smile seemed to have gotten bigger after I said that. Does she like Chris?
