An NFL player, well on his way to becoming a star, meets an actress who's already there. After a quick interaction after a game leads to many more, will these two find love, or will the Game of Hearts prove too much of a challenge.
Y/N L/N. A name known around the football community as being one of the hottest prospects in the College game right now. A wide receiver for the LSU Tigers, himself, Justin Jefferson and Ja'Marr Chase, as well as their star quarterback Joe Burrow had been dominating the NCAA FBS this season.
Y/N had quite an impressive college career as of yet, totalling 3,778 receiving yards, and 34 touchdowns. There was talk of him going very high in the draft when he decided to declare.
Right now, the team was on the way to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. They were there to play the National Championship game, against the Clemson Tigers. Y/N was sat on the bus next to Justin, scrolling through instagram. He came to a stop when he saw a post.

He smirked as he saw the picture. Hailee Steinfeld. His celebrity crush. Justin looked over and saw what he was smiling at, and laughed.
"You're shameless, man." He told his friend. Y/N didn't take his eyes off his phone. "I know." He replied, before putting his phone away.
The two sat in silence for a few more minutes, before Justin broke it. "You nervous?" He asked his fellow receiver. Y/N shook his head. "Not really. Not tryna big ourselves up here, but we haven't lost yet. We just play our regular game, it should come to us."
Justin nodded. "I mean, it's our last one, gotta make it count." Y/N nodded at this statement. The two of them, as well as Joe, would be declaring for the draft in 2020. Joe was all but secured to be going either at either 1 or 2, while Y/N was projected either late in the top ten or early in the teens, finally Justin was projected as a mid to late first rounder.
Many scouts would be in attendance for this game, furthering their reports on certain players. There were some big names. L/N, Burrow, Jefferson, Higgins, Simmons, Terrell. This had the makings of a great final.
The game started very slowly. Neither team getting much done on either of their first two drives. Clemson took over on their own 33, after an LSU punt. They opened the scoring with a Trevor Lawrence rushing touchdown.
LSU opened the next drive with a touchback, and recorded a first down for the first time in the game, but again punted, which Clemson punted right back. Y/N had begun to get frustrated at the lack of progress on the offensive side of the ball. However, that was about to change.
After a short catch from Thaddeus Moss, and two good runs from Edwards-Helaire, Burrow was informing them of the play. Y/N was the primary target on this one. He would run a fly on the right side of the field, and Joe would look for him. The ball was snapped and Y/N began his route.
