Y/N had been doom scrolling for the entire morning. He had woken up nearly an hour ago, and went to check twitter. He had received a lot of praise from the NFL fandom on the app, and a lot of love from the 49ers fans.

He then thought to check on what Hailee's fans were saying. He knew how vocal they could be about her, and wanted to see what they were saying about their revelation yesterday evening. The response had been, to put it lightly, terrible.

Many of her fans had concerns over the relationship, saying Y/N was only with her for her money, questioning Hailee's decision to be with him after his antics at the National Championship game, and insulting his looks.

It had been hard to look at, especially after they had had such an amazing time celebrating the night before. In fact, their celebrations went so well that the only thing covering the pair's skin from the air of the open window was the duvet on the bed.

It brought up a lot of insecurities in his mind, about Hailee's true feelings, and his own self confidence. He knew it shouldn't have, but it was hard not to take some of it to heart, considering how many there were.

It had taken so much of his attention, that he didn't notice the beautiful woman next to him starting to wake up. She smiled at him, before opening her eyes and seeing his slightly downtrodden expression as he stared at the phone. "Y/N?" She questioned.

His hand jerked away from himself at her sudden words, however he didn't close the app nor his phone. She giggled at his reaction, thinking she scared him, and leant up to grab his phone. "No, Hailee."

He was too late, and she had already turned over the device. She saw the tweet he was looking at, and began scrolling through the replies, seeing the abuse he was receiving from who she thought were her supportive fans. She looked up to meet his gaze, and found him looking straight down.

"Are they all like this?" She asked him. He finally looked up at her. "There's some people who are supportive of it, or are telling people that you can make your own decisions. But for the most part... yeah."

She sat up on her knees, making the sheet fall down to reveal her bare form. He would be lying if he said he didn't take a quick glance.

She looked sympathetically into his eyes, before quickly pulling him into a tight embrace. "Please don't listen to them. I'm with you because I have real feelings for you, and I know you feel the same. It might be hard to get past right now but I promise you that none of what they're saying is true." She consoled him, rubbing her hands up and down his back.

He buried his face into the crook of her neck and held her tight to him. He nodded into her, and she squeezed him tightly to her. She pulled back and looked down at him, before kissing him deeply. They pulled away after a while, and she looked at his body.
