Y/N's eyes fluttered awake from his slightly uncomfortable position on the floor. His arm still raised to be level with the bed he was beside, and still in the grip of the girl who's room this was.

He sat up and slowly removed himself from Hailee's grip. She was still fast asleep and Y/N had to admit she looked cute. He headed downstairs as his stomach rumbled. "Shit.. I need some food."

He wasn't entirely sure he should just use some of her food without her permission, but needs must. He began stirring together some flour and eggs to make pancakes. As he was adding the milk, the sound of footsteps and creaking stairs was heard. "Hello?" Hailee called out, hoping she wasn't getting robbed.

"In here." Y/N called back from the kitchen. Hailee turned into the kitchen and was surprised to see Y/N standing there. "Hey, you're still here?" She asked. Y/N laughed. "That's always how I like to be greeted." He smirked at her as she got flustered.

"No, I-I didn't m-mean" she took a breath "I was just confused 'cause I thought you would've went home." She explained. Y/N finished pouring the milk and looked up at her. "Well after I put you to bed you wouldn't let go of me so I slept beside you." He informed her, as he began stirring.

Hailee's eyes went wide. "Like.. in the bed?" She asked him. He laughed again. "Nah, nah, I slept on the floor beside you." He told her, and she breathed a slight sigh of relief.

She then looked on the counter at what he was doing. "You're making breakfast?" She asked him. He looked up at her again. "Uh, yeah. I just thought I would since you were a great host yesterday." He smiled at her, and she smiled back.

"To be fair you did do all the cooking." She smirked at him as he chuckled. "Well then this is my reward for being a good host." He smirked back as the last of the milk went in.

The two continued to talk throughout breakfast, the conversation never really stopping, until Y/N checked his phone. "Oh shit." He laughed as he looked at the amount of texts he had received.

Hailee looked at him confused as he wouldn't stop laughing. "What is it?" He calmed down and put his phone away. "Nothing. Just Ja'Marr being a weirdo." He informed her as he stood up to put their plates away. "Can I see?" She asked him, doing her best puppy eyes.

His face paled a bit. "Uhm. I feel that it's best to experience his weirdness in person. So I wouldn't wanna deprive you of that." He covered up for his friend's bluntness. She furrowed her brows but ultimately left it.

After responding to Ja'Marr, he realised that it was now 11:30. "Hey, Hailee?" He said to her, and she looked over. "Yeah?" He put his phone back into his pocket. "I should probably get going, I kinda need to get changed." He laughed awkwardly, not really wanting to go. She didn't either, hence her expression.

"Oh. Uhm, ok sure." She said, standing up to lead him to the door. He dropped his head at her sudden sadness. Whether she liked him or not they had gotten quite close, and had a good time yesterday, so he was sad to upset her.

They reached the door and Hailee opened it for him. "You gonna be ok getting back?" She asked him. "Oh yeah I'll be alright. Thanks though." He smiled at her as she leaned in to hug him, one he returned.
