It can make even the fiercest hate fade away
Its strength is beyond measure, no force can take it away
It can make even the bitterest hearts feel like clay
It can bring out the best in us, even if we think we can't
It can make us feel so much joy, even if we can't stand
It can make us feel so alive, even if we feel so low
It can make us feel so safe, even if we don't want to show
Love can heal even the deepest wounds
It can help us move past our past and start anew
It can make us see the beauty of life
It can make us see the beauty in each other too
Love can give us hope, even when all seems lost
It can bring us joy even if we've hit the bottom of the cost
It can bring us peace, even if we think we can't
It can make us believe that we can still stand
Love is a powerful force, that can never be denied
It can make the darkest of hate fade away
And make our lives so much brighter
As love will always have its way
