They hate the love I spread
The warmth and kindness I shed
They turn away in disgust
My heart they seem to mistrust
I try to show them love
But they push and shove
They don't understand
The power of love's command
They say it's all a lie
That love will make you cry
But how can they not see
That love is the key
The tears fall from my eyes
As I watch their loveless lives
I wish they could understand
That love is never bland
But they continue to hate
The love I try to create
And so I am left alone
In this world of love unknown
My heart aches with pain
As I watch love go in vain
They hate the love I spread
And it fills me with dread
