Darkest Night - 1

Praifah and all the others were attending the rescued kids after taking them to a camp which was at a decent distance from the coast to make them feel safe but the snipers were on there positions, monitoring every new move of their enemy. 

"P'Praifah we see 5-6 people going inside the ship" Kiet informed her after noticing this movement.

"And they do look fierce... I think you would need to go inside to help P'Praya" Tina suggested while keeping an eye on the tall man who stood out from the rest.

Inside the camp, discussions started immediately, Praifah wanted to go inside for her sister but her presence in the camp was much more necessary than she thought. 

"P'Prai let me go" Heidi stepped in the conversation "I will handle it"

"We will also go for Praya" Sun said on behalf of him, Kay and Maria. Though Praya became soft after Celine's joining but before that she was strict, cold and stoic. But the original team of Praya respected and loved her without any conditions.

"P'Prai... Please send me too..." Celine requested her with guilt in her eyes. Guilt of letting her P'Ya go alone.

"I can't nong. We need people to manage all this here."

"But only me and P'Song have seen it from inside. Please Phi!" Celine wasn't going to back down this time.

"Yes and that's why I also need to be there" Song jumped in as soon as she heard her name.

"What? You too? I really can't afford 6 people going...."

"Don't worry, I can arrange more people. They will come within 10 mins. Let us all go" Heidi said while dialling on her phone.

".... Ok, but please be safe!" Praifah was getting really bad feelings as she allowed all of them to go.

Celine and Song led the others inside the storage area. After they saw the empty space, they checked the other rooms which Shane had showed them through his spy cam. Sun heard crying and shouting noises from a room straight ahead. All of them decided to go there only to see Praya tied and sitting on the floor, the young boy shouting and also crying of a little girl who they couldn't see from hiding outside the control room.

"Who are YOU?"

"DEMON" The tall man replied, even though the rescue team couldn't see him, his voice sent chills down everyone's spine but Praya didn't look scared even a little bit.

"Demon? Isn't a demon supposed to be powerful ey? On the other hand YOU... you only tied a little boy and torment his sister? Is that all you GOT?" Praya was mocking him and it was definitely working.

"What do you mean khun? All the children you freed, I, myself took them into possession" His words were intricate, depicting a sophisticated upbringing and even the tone of his voice represented serenity while being annoyed.

"Your work has no morals, no dignity, you sell these innocent kids and expect me to believe you are powerful. BULLSHIT!" Demon winced on being challenged by a woman.

"Ok then you let me know, what should I do to prove you that I am powerful?" He walked towards her and put his finger under her chin. 

"Fight me! Without any weapons, hand to hand combat between us. Tell your minions to thrown their weapons into the sea through these windows and throw yours too. I also don't have any, so it will be fair" Praya had a plan to rescue the siblings and herself without knowing that her teammates had already reached.

"HAHAHA!" He started laughing "You want us to combat? How much of a dreadful death do you crave for? I'm fine with it, but don't regret it after dying" He signalled all his gangsters to throw their weapons and he did the same. All of them took out atleast three weapons and threw them out the windows.

Looking at the opportunity, Heidi and the others attacked them. Heidi positioned herself just behind Demon, putting the gun on his head. His minions got mad and tried to fight back but Heidi announced, "One step close and you master's head would be on your feet! Stay back!"

Meanwhile, Celine freed the young boy and Praya and gave her a tight hug forgetting the situation. 

"Neither do YOU have any dignity girl! Asked us to unarm, just so your gang could invade us? What about your morals huh?" Demon was pissed off that he got outsmarted by a girl but Praya was just as angry for she not getting a chance to beat him up.

"We will still fight Demon, come on!" Praya said with great vigour as she stood up but Celine held her back "Don't underestimate me nuu, I can handle him..." Celine left her hand but Heidi and Song stressed out on her decision. "Heidi it's ok, lower the gun, Demon come at me with all your strength. Don't restrain yourself just because I am a woman"

Demon cracked his neck and knuckles and removed his coat. He told all his minions to not interrupt the fight. All this was very stupid to Sun but he still allowed Praya to get into trouble, so instead of stopping her like previous occasions he said, "Just try not to die!" and Praya nodded to him.

"Why do you want this when you could have just left?" He asked like a gentleman.

"I want to kill you for doing such horrendous jobs. Why do you want to do this for these two kids when you could just surrender to my friends?" She responded like a fighter.

"Hm" He smirked at her "I like your spirit but you will need to find it out after you DIE"

Praya punched his face non-stop and he tried his best to dodge them. After noticing a pattern, he grabbed her wrist and twisted her hand pushing it behind her back.

"Told you to not mess with me" Demon whispered in her ear while holding her tightly.

She tangled her foot with his and kicked it in the air, making both of them fall with Demon's back on the floor. Praya got away from his grip and then she stood in a stance while waiting for him to get up. This annoyed him even more and he ran towards her throwing hands at her. He managed to land one punch which shocked the entire room, even his own people. Praya kicked his belly and then jumping from a table she kicked his face, trickling blood from his mouth. 

"You shouldn't have initiated for me to mess with you" She said as she smiled and motioned from her index finger to come at her again.

Every bone of Demon's well built body wanted to kill Praya at that moment. He managed to grab her neck and lifted her up while she struggled. Heidi was just about go help her friend but Kay stopped her. Praya kicked him with both her legs and he stumbled, loosening his grip. Taking advantage of this, she released herself from the chokehold and she pushed her elbow on his ribs. For the first time in this fight she used her full force which made Demon fall over and break his ribs.

Just as Praya slammed his tall figure on the wooden floor of the ship, he spat blood and die on spot. Maria and Kay opened fire on his minions and then so did Heidi and Sun. A guy from Demon's side had hidden himself when Praya was tied and fight began so he still had his gun with him. Looking at his mates die, he decided to kill the pioneer of this mess, Praya. He aimed at her at shot, Song saw him just in time and jumped in between the bullet and Praya, taking the shot on her chest. Praya turned back and found Song lying down. Sun shot the hiding man just a few seconds after.

"It's ok... Everything is going to be fine, just breath" Praya was trying to help her get up.

"Nothing will be fine, I am gonna die!" Song started crying "But before I die-" Song refused to listen to her.

"You won't die... trust me-"

"No I will, but please listen to me... I like you Praya, I like you alot-" Song confessed in the messiest situation ever, leaving Praya speechless and shocked.

"Girl you are wearing a bullet proof jacket, you are not dying, get up and help control the situation" Maria told Song without knowing the conversation before and made it ever more awkward.

Song sat and checked any injuries, there were none at all. On one hand she was pleased to be alive but on the other, she wanted to die out of embarrassment. Praya helped her get up amidst the chaos where Sun and Kay were killing all others with a generous amount of bullets. Celine took both the children out very swiftly before the massacre and dropped them where all other kids were.
