Y/N

y/n is a cool and collective character , but she's also so , I will do my best to sway her personality and how she acts in different ways without it looking like she's a different person every chapter. y/n is seen as " the sweet person with a nice voice ", she is mixed/an african american, who previously lived in florida before moving to brooklyn. she is a bit white washed , blame her mother , so some slang/words people use she may not pick up on so quickly. I will be writing her as 5'5 , if you are shorter / taller, please ignore it. she is willing to learn and try new things, even if she has a fear of them, she does her best to not let her calm demeanor shift too much. for a part of this story, y/n isn't able to speak or understand spanish, so when miles/any one does, she's often left confused. y/n and her mother have a close bonded relationship, so much so they're like best friends a y/n does have siblings, they're not too involved within the story so it is not a big deal.

MILES G MORALES

miles is seen at first as " that one tall dude with the braids ",  y/n sees miles as a friend she is able to go to when in need of notes/answers to a test. miles perception of y/n is " that cool chick ", miles is big on people who are able to keep up with him, or are worth his time, he is straight forward and rather blunt. when he sugar coats things it's rather obvious, and if he does sugar coat things it's for a good reason. he hates when people try pushing him out his comfort zone, even if it's for the best, he will try but he will not put his all into it. miles is a black latino, he will use slang  and what not.  he will speak spanish faintly, it may grow more so within the book if need be. he is most definitely a mamas boy .. he cherishes his relationship with his mother and puts her above all.

BACKSTORY ..

miles and y/n are middle school friends , from the sixth grade to current time, they were vaguely best friends on and off, going to each other because they knew they wouldn't be judged by one another. growing up between grades, from the loss of miles father, he seemed to create distance with not just his family but with you as well. you knew why, you didn't want to bother him, so you didn't. you left him be, and over that course of the years it was just waves in the hallways and text messages for the holidays and homework answers.. that is untill they were both invited to a school, the same school, in which both parents believed they could be there for each other once more.
