After a few hours of being sat down and the paperwork being done, Alton was looking at the door, sighing some as he did. "Is there something wrong?" Clayton asked Alton.
Alton looked over to him and with the Emotionless expression on his face he looked at him. "I'm just glad I can finally rest now." Alton said to him.
That's when a butler rushed into the office looking distraught. Alton and Clayton looked towards the man, Alton giving a small blank look and that's when Clayton started to laugh.
Trying to hold the laughter in Clayton looked at the man before then and started to speak. "Yes? What is it?" Clayton asked the butler.
"My lord! There is a virus going about and it's really bad!" The butler said.
"A virus? What virus?" Alton asked them.
"Sir, this the report I have for you! Loads of the poorer people have been catching a virus, the virus is called 'the wilting rose virus'." The butler stated.
"The wilting rose virus? Why?" Alton asked him.
"Well my lord it appears that when you contract the virus rose shaped bruises will appear on your body, how ever many appears is how bad you got the virus." The butler explained.
"I see. . . Is there any symptoms of the virus?" Alton asked.
"Yes sir and they are quiet serious! You start to have a high fever, then your heart rate slow downs, and then you start coughing up blood, because of the symptoms you will die within four days." The butler said.
Alton looked at him giving a small glare while hearing those words. "How many have died already?" Alton asked him.
". . . Around one thousand people, including children." The butler spoke up.
Alton's hair covered his eyes and as he got up and walked out. "Get a carriage ready. We're going to see the virus at work." Alton said while walking. "get Cosmo, Lloyd, Ryuu and Elexis to come too." Alton spoke up and walking down the halls.
Clayton sighed as he saw him leave and walk away. "he haven't long got back, why must he always go and do the extra things without taking a break?" Clayton asked no one in particular and walked off.
Clayton started to get the the people that Alton said to get and managed to get a carriage ready. That's when they all got in and sat down. Alton was sat next to Ryuu, and on the other side of Ryuu there was Clayton. On the other side Elexis was sat opposite Alton, next to her was Lloyd and next to him was Cosmo. "My lord. . . Why am I sat in here instead of driving the carriage?" Cosmo asked.
"Because as a medic I need your opinion on the situation." Alton said.
All of them started to listen to when Alton was explaining from what he have been told, all of them started to look at him with shock and disbelief. "So we just had a massive war, and now we have a virus that's killing more people on our hands?" Lloyd asked.
"Seems like it." Alton answered.
All of them sighed and looked at him, "Okay no one else will say it, so I will. . . Your working yourself way too hard. Your body will give out." Ryuu spoke up.
"No I won't. I'll be fine." Alton started to reply.
"You won't be fine. And once more if you keep over doing it because you fell responsible for every wrong doing your father and ever done you'll end up like what you was in war!" Ryuu shouted.
"I said. . . I'm fine." Alton spoke up the last part full of a evil and dark presence.
Ryuu stopped talking and Clayton and Cosmo looked shocked and horrified with what and how Alton said those words. Lloyd looked around at each and everyone of them and that's when he tried to break the silence. "Anyway. . . About this virus. . . Is there any known way of stopping it or presenting it from happening?" Lloyd asked them.
Alton looked at Lloyd and then looked at the others. "That's what I asked Cosmo here for. With his medical knowledge we might be able to find a cure. So this time Cosmo your in charge we'll follow your lead." Alton said to him.
Cosmo looked shocked and taken back to what he was just told. "With my nature magic I will help with whatever I can!" Elexis said with a smile on her face.
"What can you do with your nature magic. . ?" Cosmo asked.
"Everything! I can make whatever plants or trees you want me too!" She answered him.
"Her magic came in handy during war. Here and a lot of others magic too especially -" that's when Lloyd stopped because of what Alton said.
"Enough they don't need to know anymore, what happened in war happened. Let's not think back on it. ." Alton said outloud, eyes closed and arms crossed.
Clayton and Cosmo was looking at their new master with worried looks as there was clearly something they was hiding from them all. And it did involve Alton.
It wasn't too long later when they finally arrived and the carriage stopped. They all got out and walked up the barricaded area. The person that was guarding the area was shocked too see Alton walking over and stopped in front of them. "M-My lord?! Why are you here?!" They asked him.
"I'm here too help."
