~A few days Later~
After a few days of Alton being forced to rest and relax by Nyoria and Clayton. He didn't really have help from Lloyd, Ryuu, Cody or Elexis either However, he is now rested and relaxed. Walking down the halls of the estate and being greeted by the different servants.
Alton walked into his office where he saw Clayton working hard on paperwork. "You tell me to rest and yet here you are. . How long have you been at it?" Alton asked him, looking at him.
"Uh-" Clayton looked up and saw Alton looking at him. He stood up surprised to see him. "My lord?! Your up already?! You should be resting more!" Clayton said worry looks and stares all over his face.
"I've rested for two days already. . . How much longer do want me to relax for?" Alton asked him.
"I don't know!! Two months?!" Clayton asked him.
Alton looked at him with a blank look on his face as he heard that from Clayton. He wants to turn me into a hermit don't he. . .
"Yeah, that ain't happening. . . I'm coming back to work now. . after everything is done I will rest then and that's it. . . Now change places with me." Alton said to him.
"Mmm no." Clayton said to him.
Alton looked at him with a raised eyebrow on his face as he said that back to him. "No?" Alton asked him. Clayton simply shook his head and that's when Alton sighed and nodded his head. "okay fine, you win. I'll take a walk around the estate, you keep working. But I mean it when I say tomorrow I will be right back to work." Alton said.
Clayton gave a bright smile as he saw his new master walk out of the room and around the corner. Alton walked down the halls and that's when he got stopped by Nyoria. "Mom. . . If your going to lecture me about resting, Clayton already done that." Alton said with a small done tone of voice.
Nyoria looked at him and smiled while giving a small laugh. "No, no. I wasn't going to say anything like that! I was just going to ask a favour of my one and only beloved son!" Nyoria stated with a huge smile.
Alton raised an eyebrow while looking at his mother with a look like he's intrigued but yet scared at what his mother is going to say. "You said I don't need to look like a maid anymore. . . So of course I need new dresses!" Nyoria said to him.
Alton looked at her and nodded his head, then he gave an idea towards that. "Alright this is good, I have an idea." Alton said to her.
She looked at him and that's when Alton stopped a maid. "Go get Clayton, tell him he's taking a break for today to help me and my mother." Alton said to her.
The maid bowed and then rushed off, only a minute later Clayton was walking over to them. "my lord? Something wrong?" Clayton asked him.
"Not at all. My mother wants to go on a shopping trip so I think it's a nice small break, you'll be joining us." Alton said to him.
Clayton smiled and nodded his head towards the words he just heard. Then all of them started to leave in the carriage after one was called. This was when they stopped at a small shopping centre. They got out and Clayton helped Nyoria out as well.
"Thank you!"
"My pleasure my lady." Clayton said smiling.
Alton looked over to them and saw that Clayton and his mother was looking happy, hand-in-hand as Nyoria was getting out of the carriage. And suddenly I feel like the third wheel. . .
They both let go of eachother and started to walk with Alton into the shopping centre. That's when they stopped at a fancy looking dress shop, they walked in and Nyoria started to go off and looked at the different dresses they had. While Alton was looking at the jewelry they had there.
Clayton was helping Nyoria pick the dresses that she wanted and could wear. The hostess was looking at the three of them. "I'll take all of them. And the jewelry I'll take one of everything." Alton spoke up.
Nyoria turned towards him in shock, Clayton gave a small laugh and the hostess looked at him with complete shock and bewilderment. Alton looked at them all and that's when they all saw he was serious.
"M-My son! That's way too much!" Nyoria said to him, worried and slightly freaking out.
"No it's not, you deserve all this and more mom. You had to put up with that man and his antics for far too long. You can now enjoy all this." Alton said to her. "Clayton make sure this is all wrapped up I'll be back." Alton said while writing out a check and walking out of the place.
Clayton couldn't even say anything to Alton before he left, he sighed and looked at the check he was given and then went to help the hostess. Nyoria was panicking a bit while watching Clayton pay for the things.
Not too long later Alton came back carrying some bags with him. Nyoria and Clayton looked at him confused as he was doing that. "Come on if we're done let's go back." Alton said to them.
The whole way back Nyoria was telling Alton that he spent way too much on her and that she didn't need all of them, but if course as children do he ignored his mother and stayed quiet.
When they got back and Clayton started to go back to work, Alton gave a bag to Clayton on the desk. "That's for you, you deserve something better than that but I couldn't find anything that would be a fit." Alton said to him.
Clayton looked at him and that's when he opened the bag, taken out some nice clothes from the box, Clayton was shocked and that's when he looked back at Alton. "Alton. . . I can't take this. ." Clayton said to him.
"Yes you can and you will." Alton said to him and walked away.
He gave everyone, Lloyd, The knights and their captain, Ryuu, Elexis, Cody, Hellian and the rest of the staff presents that was either clothes or jewelry. All of them couldn't believe what Alton gave them. When Alton was walking down the halls he was stopped by a maid.
"My lord! The first price is here!"
