Part X

When Omar had finished gathering everything, he said with a smile, "How was the lesson for you?"

Reham replied with a smile, "It was amazing! I wish there was a music lesson every day." Omar smiled and said, "I wish that too, you are really talented at playing the piano, and I'm proud to teach a talented person like you."

Reham: I want to tell you something that happened.

Omar: What happened, and are you okay?

Reham: Everything is fine, but because I was late to the lesson last time and my frequent absences from school, my mother contacted Hussam to spend some time with us because she feels lonely.

Omar: Hussam, who is this person and how old is he?

Reham: Hussam is my cousin, and he is about 21 or 22 years old.

Omar: (Anger and jealousy appeared on his face) Why do you want Hussam to spend some time with you?

Reham: (Feeling happy) Of course, I didn't want that, but my mother felt lonely and wanted someone with us, and Hussam is my cousin and there was no other option.

Omar: Do you feel comfortable with Hussam being around?

Reham: No, of course not, I'm not comfortable with this situation either, but my mother wants someone with us.

Omar: I understand that she wants the best for you, but I want you to know that I'm here to be the person who supports you and makes you feel safe, but we must find a solution to this problem because I'm not comfortable with the idea of another man being with you.

Reham: (Feeling confused and embarrassed) In my mother's eyes, you are my teacher, and Hussam is my cousin, there really was no other choice for me, and Hussam is nothing more than my cousin.

Omar: I don't like this situation, and I want you to know that I wish to be the only person by your side, and I'm always here to help you find solutions that suit us all. When will Hussam leave?

Reham: I don't know exactly, maybe in a few days.

Omar: Okay, we'll talk about this issue in the next lesson at home, and I'll try to guide you on how to deal with Hussam and go home at the agreed time.

Reham: She laughed, and the music lesson, sir?
Omar: Laughed, music? Oh, of course, we will enjoy the music while we are finding solutions, we must take this issue very seriously.

At the end of the day, Reham thanked Omar. Thus, Reham's day at school ended. She returned home, thinking about Hussam who was waiting for her at home, and she still didn't know his position, whether he was with her or against her, until she arrived home, exhausted from the long school day and all the thinking.
