Part XIII

After finishing her conversation with Omar, Reham went to meet Abeer at the school gate. Abeer was already waiting for her, looking excited and vibrant.

Reham, with a wide smile, said: "There you are. You seem ready for tomorrow."

Abeer enthusiastically replied: "I can't wait! Tomorrow is going to be a great day."

At that moment, the two boarded the school bus and returned to Reham's house, where Hossam, her cousin, was engrossed in watching a movie.

Upon their arrival, they rang the bell, which was answered by Hossam. Abeer gave Hossam a scrutinizing look but he seemed uninterested and returned his focus to the movie after bidding them goodbye.

Once they entered Reham's room, Abeer and Reham exchanged glances. After a moment of silence, Abeer burst out saying: "Who's that handsome guy?"

Reham could only laugh. "Handsome?! That's Hossam, my cousin. He's been staying with us for a few days."

After their laughter subsided, Reham led Abeer to the closet and handed her a set of clothes. "Take this outfit and change out of your school clothes."

As they were preparing for bed, the door opened to reveal Reham's mother with a tray of food in her hands, welcoming her daughter's friend.

Reham's mother warmly said: "Welcome to our home, Abeer. I hope you've enjoyed your time with us so far."

Reham's mother tenderly added: "Happy birthday, my dear. I wish you happiness and success in life."

Reham, with a bright smile, responded: "Thank you, Mom, you're the best."

After exchanging kind words, Reham and Abeer started eating together. Reham's mother watched the happiness on her daughter's and her friend's faces as they chatted about the upcoming day.

Reham's mother optimistically said: "It seems you're excited for tomorrow, Reham."

Reham, grinning broadly, replied: "I'm truly excited, Mom. We have a lot of fun things to do."

Abeer enthusiastically added: "And I am too, Mrs. Reham. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow."

Reham's mother, with a smile, said: "I wish you both lots of fun."

After lunch, they felt tired and decided to go to bed so they would be ready for the following day. Before leaving the room, Reham's mother paused at the door and looked at her daughter and her friend.

Reham's mother lovingly said: "Goodnight, girls."

Reham and Abeer together replied: "Goodnight."

After Reham's mother wished them a good night, Reham and Abeer began preparing for bed. They exchanged excited and bright looks, waiting for the time to come.

Reham, in a gentle tone, asked: "Abeer, do you remember all the things we plan on doing tomorrow at the club?"

Abeer, with a bright smile, replied: "Of course, Reham. We will be busy with lots of fun activities!"

Reham affirmed: "Then, we should sleep now to be ready for a fun-filled tomorrow."

With that, they headed to bed, closed their eyes, each dreaming of what the next day would bring. The room was quiet and warm, and as the moonlight filtered through the window, Reham and Abeer fell asleep happily, excited for the adventures awaiting them the next day.
