//Theo
"Who knew baby Greengrass was capable of such depravity," I laugh. Daphne shoots daggers at me.
"I don't really fancy playing truth or dare with my little sister, especially with so few people," she looks disgusted, "not with you sickos anyway."
"No, no, we'll get everyone to join in," Astoria laughs calling out for everyone to join us. Daphne still looks apprehensive and moves to go sit by Violet instead as everyone starts to join in around us.
"I feel like we're thirteen again," laughs Parvati as she takes Daphne's old spot by Astoria.
"I never really played this," chimes in Neville. Luna and Ginny are sitting beside him. Hermione opts not to play but sits nearby with a book to enjoy the spectacle.
"You haven't, have you..." I say, sensing endless possibilities.
"Be nice." Vi scolds me, here eyes shooting daggers at me.
"When am I not nice?" There are a few nervous giggles around us and my smile shrinks a bit. I settle back into my seat, crossing my arms as the game gets going. Blaise spins the bottle first and lands on Violet.
"Ok, Vi. Truth or dare?" Blaise asks me.
"Dare," she says with a smile and sitting forward, some of her old fire poking through.
Before Blaise can even get a dare out, I stretch out holding a full bottle of wine towards her, "I dare you to chug this whole thing. One go."
"Ooh, good one. Yeah- go with Theo's dare," Blaise is damn near giddy, "let's see the old Vi!"
She snatched the bottle from me grumbling '"that's not how it works, he was supposed to come up with the dare," and pulls the cork from the top and tips it back. Daphne is trying her best to hide her smile, holding her hand to her mouth and refusing to make eye contact with her. I'm hoping they burst into their usual giggles and wine comes out Violet's nose.
I'm disappointed though as she finishes and extends the bottle back to me, I lean forward to grab it, shaking to verify it's empty and add, "can't wait to see what you steal tonight."
"I'm not a drunk klepto," She rolls her eyes.
"Bullshit," Draco laughs. I look over and he's tipsy himself, "Filch's cat treats, a trophy from the trophy room, all of my shoes sixth year," he starts.
"Ok, so I did it a few times," she crosses her arms and sits back in a pout. She spins the bottle for the next victim of the game and lands on Ginny.
"Truth or dare?" She asks.
"Dare, of course," she always had a fiery personality.
She grabs a piece of parchment and draws a dirty picture, then taps it with her wand to enchant it to move. "I dare you to sign and send this to Harry right now," she says, obviously proud of herself. Honestly, I am too. That picture was very detailed.
"Done." She smiles deviously and goes to the window, sending out a charm to call her owl to her. She attaches the letter and sends the owl off.
"I swear my mum better not open that," she sighs, "he's staying at the burrow with Ron right now."
She spins and several rounds go by, Daphne ends up having to sit in Blaise's lap for the rest of the game, Malfoy and Astoria both admit to having a crush on each other (very reluctantly) but not to our surprise. Neville admits to having done it in the herbology classroom but won't tell us who, and Parvati is sitting in her bra and underwear. She spins the bottle and lands back on Violet.
"Again?" She asks, obviously drunk as she pulls an annoyed face.
"That's how to odds work, babe," I wink at her.
"Says the guy who hasn't had to have a turn yet," she turns back to Parvati, "fine. Dare. Again."
Parvati looks between us and breaks into an evil grin.
"Truth?" She tries to change her choice last minute, noticing this.
"No way, that's not how it works Violet," Daphne laughs from Blaise's lap. His arms are wrapped casually around her waist and I raise my eyebrow. He offers me a small shrug and smile, tightening his grip, looking super comfortable.
"I dare you to sit in Theo's lap and make out for two minutes," she sits back, proud of herself.
"Seriously?" She groans.
"I'm not that bad," I defend myself.
"I don't know where that thing's been," she shoots back.
"Oh, everywhere," I smile suggestively.
"Damnit," she gets up from her spot rubbing her face, annoyed with her predicament.
"I meant to choose truth," she groans, throwing herself into my lap wrapping her arms around my neck. "You pervs just going to watch or keep playing?" She turns to face them all, narrowing her eyes at them.
"I'll set the timer when you guys start and we'll keep going," Ginny laughs. She looks over to Daphne to see her and Blaise with the biggest grins of all time and she flips them off. I'm thoroughly enjoying her behavior as she acts like the wild, no-shit girl I have always known.
She turns her attention back to me, "This is a one-time thing," she warns me.
"Keep telling yourself that, princess," I wink. She stares up at the ceiling as if asking for some sort of help from the heavens. Heaving a sigh she brings her face back to mine and suddenly her lips are on mine.
I snake my arms around her waist pulling her closer to me, her lips are warm and dry, but soft and pillowy. One of her hands cups the side of my face as she goes to deepen the kiss, opening her mouth to me and I take the opportunity to push my tongue into her mouth. She tastes sweet like the wine, and a little minty.
The kiss picks up pace and she lets out a small satisfied sound I don't think anyone else can hear but I can feel. One of my hands wanders to her neck to hold her close as we get lost in the kiss.
I'm so lost in her I almost don't hear the laughter, not at first. Finally, we both come back to reality. She pulls away, eyes on mine and lips swollen, but shocked. I can see it in her eyes, then I can see her cheeks flush.
"For two people who do nothing but bicker, you guys sure didn't hear us when we called the two-minute mark," Ginny laughed. Vi doesn't turn around, her eyes still glued to mine for a few more minutes.
"Uh, um, yeah. It's the alcohol. I was just picturing someone else less repulsive and got a little lost in the moment, I guess," she tries to defend. No one is buying it though, not even me. Everyone teases us a bit more, my mates both hiding shit-eating grins. She goes to stand up and I tug her back into my lap, whispering in her ear.
"If you don't mind staying put for a quick moment," I whisper, flicking my eyes down. Her pink darkens to a near cherry blush but she doesn't move.
"Ok, Theo, truth or dare?" asks Malfoy. Attempting to spare Daphne from what I know will be another dare to kiss or something with her from the look on his face, I choose truth.
"Why won't you let Violet go back to her seat?"
Damn him, but proud of myself anyway I announce, "Had a little too much fun kissing."
"Oh my god," Violet flies from my lap, her embarrassment at its absolute threshold, flipping us all off again and storms off to the girls' dorm. The whole group erupts into raucous laughter and I sit back in my seat, still feeling her lips on mine with a smile.
