CHAPTER 69 - SUSPICIOUS

JIMIN'S POV

Sure I might be a little bit protective but this girl right her is my sister, by blood or not, she will still be special to me.

I wont ever tolerate shit like this, especially to my siblings.

"Alright boys settle down now, dont want to scare the little witch" 

Lisa said pulling both Yoongi and Jungkook to sit down.  

Jihyo gulped, being intimidated by us, AS SHE SHOULD... bitch.

WHY IS SHE STILL STANDING THERE?!

"When will you just leave us alone Jihyo? the last time we saw you was at the ma-" Jennie stopped for a moment before mumbling slowly "Masquerade ball"

All of us warily gazed at her suspiciously.

I eyed her every movement, from the way she gulped again to how she's playing with the hem of her skirt and the way cold sweat starts to form on her forehead. She's nervous.

"Where did you go when the raid began?" I asked suspiciously

"What did you do when it  happened?" Yoongi asked secondly

"I didnt see you or your father when we evacuated all the normies" Namjoon informed

"How did you survive - out?" Lisa suspected lastly

By now Jihyo is sweating badly- even worse when Namjoon, Taehyung and Jennie cornered her from every side so she cant escape our table.

"Care to explain Jihyo?" Lisa asked lastly before leaning forward on her chair beside Yoongi

Rose and the rest are all pretty confused at the whole situation but soon enough Jungkook, Rosie and Felix catch up quickly. The three of them started watching Jihyo closely as well, with narrowed eyes.

Jihyo still kept quiet, fidgeting around with her fingers when all of us grew impatient.

In one swift move Jennie and Jisoo moved Bangchan, Dahyun, I.N and Hyunjin over to the side just so that Rose can go over and tug Jihyo's wrist forcefully so that she sits down on the bench with all of us crowding over her.

She let out a small whimper as we continued to drown her in questions and interrogation.

"Where did you go?" Namjoon started followed by Taehyung

"Who do you work for?"

"What are you planning?" Yoongi went on too

All of us listened closely but when she still doesnt spill, Jungkook leaned forward just to get close enough where he can intimidatingly glare eye to eye with Jihyo which she can't look away from.

"If you dont answer us soon you'll see just how easily we can find your family and everyone you care about that after all this your gonna remember this day and regret everything because truly, It will all be your fault"

Jungkook's words cut deep through her as she finally let out a sob as tears constantly started pouring from her eyes.

ROSE'S POV

Looking at Jihyo who's crying like a baby, smearing all of her eye make-up, i gave Jungkook a WTF look as he returned it with an unbothered shrug.

Just then Jihyo started pouring her eyes out while babbling on and on

"I dont know anything! i just went out the evacuation with my daddy- I dont work for anyone!"

and with that she pushed both me and Jimin aside to go through and sprint out of the cafeteria crying.

Jungkook was about to go and follow her when Namjoon stopped him by the arm before saying

"Let her go... for now"

We all eyed her figure as it disappeared through the double doors leading to the hallway out the canteen.

"She's definitely hiding something" Taehyung stated as the rest of us felt suspicious of her, still.

...

"What was that about?" 

Bang chan started while him, Hyunjin, I.N and Dahyun looked at us in both confusion mixed with terror and uncertainty.

"Come on guys! We're still us dont worry~" Jisoo reassured with the most innocent/friendly smile she can muster

Well...This might be something we have to work with.

It's terrible enough that we live in fear of what happens next but to have our friends live in fear...Of us? its a whole different story.

And it wont be pretty.
