Sans' POV
Here we are again. (Y/N) looking angelic, unaware that these resets are breaking me. I know she doesn't remember those other runs. She never does. She never remembers my puns, that I've stopped telling her many runs ago. She'll never remember them, anyway. She forgets the laughs we've had at Grillby's at the beginning...
And she forgets how she once held my hand and told me she loved me, and how I said it back.
"Hey, kid." I say, trying to keep the sadness out of my voice. "Um, hi!" (Y/N) replies, though I know she doesn't have a clue why I'm talking to her. "So, a human in the Underground. You don't see that too often." Of course I do. I've seen her down here at least 4,000 times. She starts back, shock crossing her face. Then she looks resigned and a bit embarrassed, as if realizing her disguise wasn't exactly the best. "Please don't take me to Asgore, I promise I'm not a threat." She pleads. Well, not now she isn't. I've seen her genocide routes. All my friends turning to dust. A red scarf, a spear, remnants of them. "I won't take you there, kid. So, what's your name?"
"(Y/N).." She stutters. "Hey, no need to be scared about me. So what's your story?" Of course I know it. I've heard it a million times. She stares at me while she recaps. I wonder what she sees...
