Two days have passed since Sabine and Ezra bonded over their shared experiences. Suddenly, chaos erupts as the base is invaded by an army of golden B1 battle droids and golden B2 super battle droids. The sound of blaster fire fills the air as the Mandalorians valiantly fight to defend their home.
In the midst of the chaos, the Vice Leader Mandalorian, with unwavering bravery, buys precious time for Sabine, Ezra, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Hera, Fender, and Puss in Boots to escape.
EXT. MANDALORE - FOREST CLEARING - CONTINUOUS
The gang, their hearts heavy with worry and guilt, runs through the dense forest, seeking refuge from their pursuers. As they pause in a small clearing, they witness the transports taking away the captured Mandalorians, their spirits dampened by the sight.
EZRA
(anguished)
This is all my fault. If it weren't for me, they wouldn't be captured right now.
Sabine places a comforting hand on Ezra's shoulder, her eyes filled with determination.
SABINE WREN
(assuringly)
Ezra, this is not your fault. We are all fighting for the same cause, and sometimes sacrifices must be made. We will rescue them, just as we have overcome other challenges. We won't abandon our friends.
EZRA
(angry)
Don't you get it it is my fault my life was perfect and I'm never gonna get it back.
FENDER PINWHEELER
(firmly)
Well, if your life was so perfect, then why did you sign the deal with Rumplestiltskin in the first place?
EZRA
(Mad)
Cause I didn't know what I had until it was gone alright.
EZRA
(whispering)
I didn't know what I had.
Silence hangs in the air as the weight of Ezra's words sinks in. Suddenly, a mysterious glow catches their attention, drawing their focus outside the clearing.
Ezra, still overcome by his emotions, decides to investigate, his steps heavy with contemplation. Sabine follows closely, sensing his turmoil and wanting to offer support.
SABINE WREN
(whispering)
I'll go with you, Ezra. We'll figure this out together.
Ratchet, concerned for Ezra's well-being, turns to Bumblebee, urging him to keep a watchful eye on their friends.
RATCHET
(whispering)
Bumblebee, follow them discreetly. We need to ensure they stay safe.
Bumblebee nods, silently transforming into his stealthy vehicle mode and blending into the surroundings as he follows Ezra and Sabine into the forest.
