03. movies and dates

Peyton POV

I was so nervous. Recently, I've felt something between Sabrina and I. I mean, look at her, she's gorgeous. So, I went for it. I asked her out.

I was wearing a red button-up and black pants. I had a bouquet of daises and sunflowers. I really hoped this date would go well.

I felt a buzz in my pocket and took out my phone.

Sabrina - hey sorry, meet me at Rowan's place.

I was still driving, and Rowan's house was just around the corner of Sabrina's house. So I just turned around the corner and parked in front of Rowan's place.

Sabrina POV

"You look great, for the hundredth time." Rowan assured me.

"I know, but I feel like something's missing." I said and stared at myself in the mirror. I was wearing a coral red skirt with a purple, grey, and pink tribal looking print sweater. I had black boots on my feet and black hoop earrings. My hair was curled and my makeup was done.

Then, the doorbell rang. I was so anxious, and I felt my heart racing in my chest. I went to open the door and smiled.

"Hey Peyton." I said. Gosh, he looked so cute.

"Oh uh, hey Sabrina. You look great",he said, handing a bouquet of daises and sunflowers to me. I just blushed and looked down.

"So uh, is Rowan here or-" he started. Then Rowan came into the room.

"Hey Sabrina, who was at the - oh, um. Nevermind." She just kind of stared at Peyton. I turned to her.

"So, are you going to be alone tonight?" I asked.

"Oh no, it's fine. I'm actually waiting for- Uriah!" Then, Uriah came pedaling onto the street on his bike. He stopped and dropped his bike on the curb. He walked up to us.

"Hey guys." He turned to Rowan. "You ready for another Rowriah movie night?" He asked.

"I've been ready." she replied.

Uriah turned to us. "Wow, you guys look dressed up."

"Yeah, I'm uh, taking her out." Peyton replied. He placed his arm around my waist. I could feel my whole body tingle with joy.

"Alright, well don't have too much fun." Uriah said with a smirk. Rowan looked at Uriah and shoved him on the arm. I could feel my face turning into a deep scarlett red.

"We should, um, get going." Peyton said and led me out to his car.

Who knew what this night would be like.

Uriah POV

After Sabrina and Peyton left, it was just me and Rowan. She still looked amazing, even in a oversized grey hoodie with leggings and a ponytail.

"So, what movie do you want to watch?" she asked, plopping herself down on the couch. She scrolled through Netflix.

"Ooh! How bout a Disney move?" she said, still scrolling through the options.

"Sure." I said with a shrug. I sat down on the couch next to her.

"OH MY GOSH, YES YES YES!!" she said, jumping up and down on the couch. She clicked on High School Musical [ the original/first one ] and we started watching it, no questions asked.

After we finished High School Musical 1, 2, and 3, we started watching The Fosters. I felt Riley's head fall onto my chest. She looked beautiful as always. If she was awake, she would've felt my heart beat go a million times faster.

I glanced at my watch and saw the time:
11:48

I could feel my eyelids getting heavy, and my body relax and shut down. Slowly, I drifted off to sleep.

Rowan POV

I woke up, realizing I was in Uriah's arms. For some reason, his arms wrapped around me made me feel, secure, safe. I stared at his soft brown hair, the hair the color of rich chocolate. I remember when I would jump on his back all the time, and mess his hair all up.

His breathing was so swift and steady. And his lips were-

Wait. No. This isn't happening.

Do I have a crush on Uriah?

yay an update! hopefully this chapter is a bit longer, we know the past chapters are quite short. we have started on chapter four, so hopefully that will be posted soon!
