Uriah POV

Rowan, Sabrina, Peyton and I were all hanging out at my place when I heard my phone ring from my pocket. I excused myself and went to my room.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hi, is this Uriah Shelton?" the male voice from the other line asked.

"This is he." I answered.

"Hi, this is the Frank Pace, the producer in the upcoming Disney show, Girl Meets World. We want to give you a part in the show." he said.

I was shocked.

"But I didn't try out." I said. Then I thought about what character they could possibly offer me. Then I thought about when Rowan got her script, it said that Riley had a love interest. Maybe they wanted to give me that role?

"Yes, but we saw you looking around the set with Rowan the other day, and we thought you'd be the perfect fit for Uncle Josh." he said. Huh, I guess I'm not going to play Riley's love interest. Then I remembered about Cory's little brother from Boy Meets World. So I would be playing Riley's uncle?

"Um, when can I get back to you?"I asked, still pondering if I should take it or not. Working with Rowan would be really cool, but I still didn't know if I wanted to play an uncle.

"You can get back to me by next week, when we shoot the first scene. We'll deliver a copy of the script to your house. We hope you consider." He said, and with that, he hung up.

I slipped my phone back into my pocket. I stood there for a moment, processing what he just said. When I entered back into the living room where Rowan, Sabrina, and Peyton were, Peyton almost immediately got a phone call. He left so it was just Rowan, Sabrina and me.

"So who was that?" Rowan asked and looked up at me. Gosh, she looked stunning today. She was wearing a floral dress with a black knit sweater and her black high-top Converse. I felt like she just kept looking prettier and prettier.

"Oh, um. That was the producer of your show." I said, scratching the back of my head, what I always did when I was nervous or in an awkward position.

Rowan and Sabrina's faces immediately turned into faces of worry.

"No, no. You guys still have the part." I reassured. They sighed in relief.

"So why did he call then?" Sabrina asked.

"He, um, wanted to offer me a role." I said. Rowan jumped of the couch and tackled me in a hug.

"Uriah that's great!" she exclaimed.

"Are you playing Riley's love interest?" Sabrina smirked and wiggled her eyebrows.

"No, actually." I said. "I'll be playing Riley's uncle, Uncle Josh." They looked surprised, but still happy.

"Oh." was all Rowan said. "But are you taking the part?" she asked.

"I don't know yet, he said he'd have a script mailed over to me, and I have to answer by next week, your first shoot. It would be really cool working with you all the time, but it'd be weird to play your uncle." I said.

They just kind of nodded, processing all I said. Just then, Peyton walked balk into the room.

"Hey guys." he said as he sat down.

"Who was that?" Sabrina asked.

"Oh uh, the producer of your show." he said, quite casually if I might add.

"Did you give you a part?" Sabrina asked.

"Um, yeah. I got the part of Lucas." He said. Rowan's face went to a lighter shade of white.

Lucas. I thought. Who was Lucas in the show? Then I realized.

Lucas was Riley's love interest.
