Donnie falls through time, plummeting through endless dimensions and eras as he hurtles towards his destination. He finally falls out of the wormhole and smacks into the sandy ground with a loud groan, wincing in pain as he struggles to get up. Donnie slowly recovers from his fall and glances around, slowly recognizing his surroundings. To his shock, he realizes that he has made it back to the fateful night when he became an OutMan. Looking around the construction site, he sees the same armed men that he encountered that night and feels a sense of dread wash over him. Donnie rushes out of sight, making sure to stay hidden from the armed men as they patrol the area. As he watches his Past self hop over the gate, his mind races with memories of that night. He mutters to himself, "I remember this, I remember this, his attention completely focused on the events unfolding before him. Donnie continues to watch as the events unfold according to how they should go.
He sees his past self being knocked over into the ground by a red blur, which catches the attention of the gunmen. He can feel a sense of déià vu wash over him as he realizes that this is the exact moment when everything began to change for him. Donnie watches in horror as the gunmen point their guns at his past self, who is trying to retrieve his phone from them. They had found out that he was taking pictures of what they were doing and were now threatening to kill him. The tension in the air is palpable as Donnie sees his past self desperate to get out of this situation alive. The sweat on his brow, the trembling of his hands, and the fear in his eyes are all too real for Donnie as he relives this moment. Donnie winces as he watches his past self being knocked to the ground by one of the gunmen, leaving him bruised and helpless. He sees the pain and terror etched on his past self's face as he struggles to get up, but the gunman towers over him, gun pointed straight at his head. Donnie feels a visceral sense of dread as he realizes how close his past self had come to death in that moment. Donnie's eyes widen in shock as he watches a blur take out the armed gunman who had been standing over his past self. Suddenly, the rest of the armed men are being taken out one by one by this mysterious figure. Past Donnie is awestruck as he sees the incredible strength, agility, and precision on display. It is clear that this is no ordinary person, but a highly trained and skilled fighter. As the final gunman falls to the ground, Past Donnie can hardly believe what he has witnessed. He is left with a feeling of both awe and unease. Donnie cautiously moves out of cover, his heart racing as he tries to remain out of sight from his past self who is picking up his phone and making a break for it. He stops in his tracks, however, when he hears a strange sound that seems to belong in a sci-fi movie. Past Donnie can feel his mind reeling as he tries to understand what is happening. He knows he needs to be careful, but he can't resist the urge to move further into the scene and find out what is going on. Donnie creeps closer to his past self, trying to remain unnoticed as he watches in horror as his past self is once again thrust to the ground by a blur that Donnie knows all too well. The Red Edge.
Donnie's heart pounds as he struggles to maintain his cover and avoid detection.
Watching the incredible strength, speed, and technique of the Red Edge, Past Donnie can't help but feel a sense of reverence and fear. This is no ordinary person; this is someone who possesses abilities that are beyond human. Donnie's eyes widen in disbelief as the Red Edge circles his past self, creating a massive sandstorm that engulfs them both. The sand whips around them, and Donnie can barely stay on his feet.
Through the haze, he sees the Red Edge's figure darting around the perimeter of the storm, effectively trapping his past self within it. Squinting through the sand, Donnie feels a sense of clarity and purpose wash over him. He realizes that this is the moment he has been waiting for, the moment when he becomes OutMan. For a moment, Donnie is completely blinded by the dazzling white light that joins the sandstorm. The world around him fades away, and he is lost in a sea of white. As the light begins to fade, Donnie can see a Human shape within it, a figure struggling to maintain control. The lightning crackles around the figure, wild and untamed, and Donnie can see that it is losing its grip on the power coursing through it. Despite the danger, Donnie is entranced by the spectacle before him, and he watches with bated breath, wondering what will happen next. Squinting his eyes against the fierce sandstorm, Donnie takes cautious steps forward, his progress slow and labored.
He stumbles and struggles against the howling winds, his vision obscured by the swirling sand. As he emerges from the storm, he sees his past self standing there, completely unaware of his presence. The crack of thunder fills the air as lightning strikes past Donnie in the shoulder, the jolt of electricity passing through him and into present Donnie. Both Donnies are lined up facing the same direction, their bodies shaking as the power courses through them. The air crackles with energy as the lightning transfers from past to present, and Donnie feels himself being altered in strange and powerful ways. The force of the lightning strike sends both Donnies flying in different directions, and present Donnie rolls away, his shoulder burning with pain from the impact. He winces in agony, but grits his teeth and forces himself to push through the pain, knowing that the lightning strike wasn't enough.
Present Donnie picks himself up, barely able to move due to his critical condition, and clutches his shoulder in pain. As he looks up, he sees two figures clashing violently, creating a whirlwind of motion and force that threatened to consume them both. Despite his injury, he knows that he must intervene before it's too late. The two continue to fight, their movements fluid and graceful, but Donnie braces himself and charges towards them, Past Donnie tries to escape, holding his injured shoulder in pain, but as he makes a run for it, Present Donnie runs right at the two figures with a fierce determination, but as the explosive clash of red and white energy erupts, he's caught in the blast and hurtled into a nearby ditch. He rolls several times before hitting the ground with a sickening thud, laying unconscious and barely breathing. Donnie lies on the ground, a mix of red and white energy coursing through his body. Suddenly, he wakes up with a gasp and wide-open eyes, feeling the power of the energy flowing through him. Donnie rolls over onto his side, wincing and groaning in pain as he slowly picks himself up off the ground. The energy inside of him is overwhelming, as he struggles to stay on his feet. Donnie makes his way out of the ditch, every step sending waves of pain through his body. As he climbs up the embankment, he sees a crumpled heap on the ground - his past self, knocked unconscious by the blast of energy. With tears in his eyes, present-day Donnie kneels down and looks at his past self, Present-day Donnie kneels down and carefully cradles his past self in his arms, whispering reassurances that everything will be alright. With each step, he gains more strength - until finally, he breaks into a run. Faster and faster he goes, until he's a blur of red and white energy darting off, Present-day Donnie rushes down the street in a blur of both red and white energy, using every ounce of strength to get his past self to the hospital as quickly as possible. His fierce expression never wavers as he hurtles down the street, his eyes locked dead ahead. The wind whips past him in a blur as he leaves a trail of red and white energy in his wake, his determination unwavering. Donnie rushes through the fabric of space and time, his keen senses picking up echoes and whispers from all around him. He hears the voices of his past, urging him on and giving him strength. Visions of his struggles and triumphs appear before him, each one pushing him to greater heights. He feels the force of his will sharpening, his focus intense as he moves ever forward. Donnie keeps running and screaming, pushing himself to the limit until he finally opens another point in the wormhole and exits at his apartment. He sees his sister Lily and his friends Ralph, Andrew, and Jessica, all looking at him, Donnie slowly pulls his mask over his head, feeling the weight of his triumph heavy upon him. Lily is the first to approach him, tears streaming down her face as she embraces him tightly. Donnie hugs her back, feeling her warmth and love envelop him with a radiance that is impossible to describe. Ralph, Andrew, and Jessica approach soon after, all happy to see him alive and well. The group eventually breaks their hug and Lily looks directly at Donnie, with tears still in her eyes.' "Donnie," she says, her voice trembling with emotion, "we saw you die." Her fingers shake slightly as she reaches out to touch him, as if to confirm that he is actually real and alive. The weight of her words hangs in the air, heavy and solemn. Donnie nods slowly, his eyes clouded with a deep sense of sadness and regret.
"It's a long story," he says softly, "but I need to tell you all." However, before he can continue, Jessica cuts him off. "That story may have to wait," she says, her tone urgent. "Red Edge is still out there." The group nods, their expressions sobering as they realize that the dangers they're facing are far from over.
The red edge arrived to the abandoned factory in a gush of red energy, with his aura pulsating with raw energy. He held two containers of Red Energy and White Energy, and with a swift motion, he set them down on a nearby table. Coming to a large machine, he began to tinker with it feverishly, his eyes gleaming with determination and focus. With a click of a button, the machine whirred to life with a loud hum and white lights that pulsed on. The red edge watched intently as the machine came to life. The red edge grabbed the Red container and put it into a tube before sliding it inward, activating one side of the machine with a hum. He then inserted the container with the white energy into the other side of the tube, sliding it inward with a sense of purpose and determination. As both sides of the machine were activated, it hummed with a powerful energy that filled the room. The red edge clicked on the buttons to run the tests, Finally, after a few moments had passed, the tests were complete and the machine was ready to be used. Suddenly, the machine began to spark with a blinding and intense energy, both red and white. The energy surged through the machine, illuminating the entire factory in an aura of otherworldly glory. The sparks danced and crackled, filling the air with an indescribable sense of power and excitement. It was as if the very fabric of reality was being torn apart by the sheer force of the machine's energy. Andrew was sitting in Donnie's kitchen on his laptop when he started receiving massive energy readings coming from the abandoned factory off
County Street. His heart skipped a beat as he realized that something truly Bad was happening.
"Donnie, I'm getting massive energy readings from the abandoned factory off of County Street," Andrew said breathlessly. Donnie's eyes widened in recognition, "The Red Edge"
"He's activated the machine" Jessica Said as the skies began to thunder in the background, catching their attention. Donnie rushed out to the balcony, where they all stood in awe as the skies were consumed by red lightning, crackling and twisting in impossible patterns.
