The air was thick with a dark, musty smell in the abandoned area where Lily and Jessica were being held captive. They sat in separate cells, each surrounded by a menacing laser grid fence, making escape seem impossible. The doors to the room slide open revealing The Red Edge walking in with his hands behind his back. Jessica and Lily stand up, fear and frustration palpable in the air. The Red Edge looks at Lily and says, "I have a surprise for you Miss Lily". Lily looks at him in concern, fearing the worst as he moves closer to her. The Red Edge turns around and to Lily and Jessica's surprise, Donnie walks into the room unmasked. Their shocked expressions slowly turn into happy ones. Lily shouts "Donnie!" and the Red Edge shuts off the laser grid fence. She rushes towards Donnie and hugs him tightly. He returns the hug, and Jessica stands beside them, relieved to have him back. Lily and Jessica begin to look at Donnie with concern as he walks over to the Red Edge. Lily asks him, "What are you doing?" Donnie looks at Lily with a conflicted expression, showing that he doesn't want to do this but he Knows he has to. " I'm Doing this To Save You Both" She asks him "What are you talking about?" Lily shifts her gaze from Donnie to the red edge's chuckle grows louder. "Are you afraid, Lily? You needn't be. All I ask is that Your surrender his power to me, and both you and Jessica will be free" Donnie slowly turns his head to face the Red Edge, his eyes meeting theirs with steely determination. "You can't do this," Lily pleads with Donnie. "He'll be unstoppable if you give up your powers." Donnie places a comforting hand on her shoulder, "It's gonna be okay" He said "Are you sure you wanna do this, Donnie?" Jessica asks with concern. "You know this is a one way trip and there's no going back if you do this" Donnie nods his head confidently, "It's gonna be alright." Donnie leaves the room and follows the red edge into an even bigger room with a huge advanced device that wasn't active. The Extraction Pod is a sleek, metallic device that seems to hum with an eerie energy. It consists of several panels and tubes arranged in a complex network. The confinement tubes are large, transparent cylinders filled with a strange, glowing liquid that emits a low-pitched humming noise. The entire setup looks like some kind of futuristic laboratory equipment. "What is it?" Said Donnie. "This is an Extraction Pod, designed to pull apart the two opposing forces within Donnie and channel them into the large confinement tubes, One of the key components of the design is a built-in confinement cage, which will prevent any critical reactions that may occur during the separation process. This ensures that the confined energies will remain stable and contained, preventing any dangerous release of power." The red edge expertly operates the Extraction Pod from the monitor, his nimble fingers dancing across the many panels and controls. As the device comes to life, a soft humming sound emanates from every corner of the room. Donnie clenches his fists, his knuckles turning white with the effort, and looks down, closing his eyes. Donnie says to The red edge without turning his attention to him, "This was your plan all along, huh? Coming back in time to kill me by sending someone after me. Only you couldn't do it yourself because you were weak. So you took my sister and my friend." His words carry a heavy weight, filled with anger and resentment towards The red edge. Donnie continues, "And you did it just to get me to give up my power for you, didn't you? You were always jealous of me, always wanting what I had"
Donnie's voice trembles with anger, "And you did all of this... because of something that doesn't even happen for several years to come. You blamed me for whatever happened, even though it wasn't my fault." The Red Edge shouts, "It is your fault!" The two stand face-to-face, tension thick in the air. "It's because of you the world is overpopulated by so-called heroes who think they fight for what's right. All they ever do is cause destruction!" The Red Edge grits his teeth, "They destroyed my life's work. They destroyed everything I have. They took away what I loved," he takes a step closer, his voice low, "Now I'm gonna destroy what they love. Starting with you." Without warning, the Red Edge grabs Donnie by the neck, throwing him into the extraction pod with tremendous force. "You and all those other heroes will pay for what you've done," he growls as he slams the pod shut. Donnie slowly recovers, but it's too late to reach the door of the pod. He pounds his fists against the door, frustration and anger boiling inside him. The Red Edge smirks as he activates the pod, the machine beginning to hum to life and whir into motion. Donnie is trapped, with no way out. Donnie stands in the center of the pod, bracing himself as he's being extracted by painful rays of light. He screams as the light hits every part of his body, a sensation unlike anything he's ever felt before. Lily and Jessica rush into the room, screaming Donnie's name as they see him trapped in the extraction pod. They frantically try to figure out what's happening to him, their minds racing with fear and confusion. Donnie screams even louder, his arms flailing in the air as the rays of light strike him with even more aggression, the pain almost unbearable as it courses through his body. Donnie begins to break apart into particles, evaporating little by little until he's nowhere in sight in the extraction pod. Lily and Jessica watch in horror, realizing they may have just witnessed Donnie's ultimate demise. The Red Edge opens the pod from the monitor, but nothing comes out besides smoke. Lily slowly walks towards it, telling herself in her head that Donnie's not dead. The Red Edge collects the confinement tubes using his speed and rushes out of the room, leaving Lily and Jessica to grieve for Donnie.
Ralph and Andrew were both sitting in Donnie's apartment, deep in conversation, until Lily and Jessica walked in. Both were taken aback by Donnie's death, and there was a somber silence that filled the room. Andrew and Ralph looked at Lily and Jessica curiously, and Andrew asked,
"Where's Donnie?" The weight of his words hung heavily in the room as no one wanted to say what had happened. Andrew and Ralph's hearts sank as they realized the look on Lily's face that Donnie didn't make it. They shared a knowing look, and then the reality of the situation hit them all at once. Ralph broke the silence,
"So what do we do now?" Jessica replied solemnly, "We don't know... All I know is that the Red Edge won." The gravity of the situation weighed heavily on all of them.
Somewhere
Deep In The void in time was a place where there was nothingness as far as the eye could see. The only thing that was present were eerie echoes of voices that seemed to come from all directions. The endless void of time was a mixture of vibrant colors that seemed to blend together in hypnotic patterns. The kaleidoscope of hues created a mesmerizing effect that distorted time itself. Donnie felt like he was floating in an endless void of time, but slowly he started to wake up. As he opened his eyes, he realized he was somewhere that was beyond anything he could have ever imagined. It was as if Donnie was watching a surreal painting come to life right in front of his eyes. It was a deafening sound that filled the empty space around Donnie, making him feel more alone than ever before. Suddenly, Donnie saw glimpses of his past through the void of time. He saw his younger self, including Little Lily who he was holding. The memories flooded back to him all at once, and he was overwhelmed with emotion. As Donnie continued to traverse the endless void of time, he saw glimpses of his parents smiling at him. He also saw flashbacks of himself being born and held by them, with tears streaming down their faces. The bittersweet memories tugged at his heartstrings, and he felt a sense of longing for their presence. Suddenly, Donnie was startled by a voice echoing through the void. "Donnie," the voice called his name. "Who's there?" Donnie asked, perplexed. "What is this place?" he added, filled with confusion and fear. Donnie screamed as he was dropped abruptly, landing hard on the rocky ground. He slowly regained his composure and started to survey his surroundings. To his surprise, he found himself on a rocky top, surrounded by mountains and cliffs. Donnie looked around, trying to locate the source of the voice calling his name. "What the hell is this place?" he muttered to himself. "What do you want from me?" he shouted towards the voice. "I have to go back, my city is in danger from the red edge!" he added with a sense of urgency.  The Donnie's heart rate began racing as he noticed a sudden presence by his side. He turned to find a figure looming over him, causing him to jump back with a startled yelp. The man exuded a regal air as he moved, each step calculated and graceful. His black robe was adorned with intricate accents of red and gold that shimmered in the light, with fine silver outlines adding extra detail to the already stunning garment. The girdle belt and black boots completed the ensemble, leaving no doubt as to the man's refined taste and impeccable sense of style. His face was a blend of striking handsomeness, with chiseled jawline and piercing blue eyes that drew you in. The features perfectly combined the boyish charm with the rugged masculinity, resulting in a face that was both alluring and captivating. The man's look was both polished and rugged, thanks to the clean-shaven beard that was trimmed to perfection. His short hair was styled neatly, accentuating his strong jawline and striking features. "Donatello Jace, I have been expecting you," he said in a deep, commanding voice as he approached Donnie. "Who are you?" Donnie asked curiously. "My name is Gorvin," the man said, meeting Donnie's gaze with a level stare.
"And I believe we have a lot to discuss, Mr.
Jace," Gorvin said with a smile that was more like a smirk. "How do you know my name? And what is this place?" Donnie asked, feeling increasingly uneasy. "have been expecting you for centuries, Mr. Jace," Gorvin replied cryptically. "Centuries? You've been expecting me for centuries? Are you my ancestor or something?" Donnie asked, trying to make sense of Gorvin's words. Gorvin chuckled at Donnie's remark and said, "I am not an ancestor, but your guidance to learn what you are unaware of, and to this place."
"Well, what is this place? And why am I even here? I have to get back home, my city and my friends are in danger, and I'm the only one who can stop the Red Edge," Donnie exclaimed, his voice filled with urgency. "I am aware of the dire situation, Mr. Jace," Gorvin responded. "Then send me back!" Donnie pleaded. "I cannot send you back, Mr. Jace," Gorvin replied. Donnie gave him a curious look before asking, "Why not?" "Because you have met your demise to the Red Death," Gorvin said solemnly. Donnie was taken back by his words. Donnie's voice trembled as he asked, " I died?" Gorvin responded by displaying a vivid vision of Donnie writhing in agony inside an extraction pod, being bombarded by blinding rays of light that seemed to pierce through his body and make him let out blood-curdling screams of pain. Donnie watched in horror as the vision continued, showing him gradually evaporating into particles of energy, his screams echoing through the chamber until they faded away completely. The intensity of the agony etched on his face was almost too much to bear. As the vision faded away, Gorvin turned his gaze towards Donnie and spoke in a grim tone, "In that reality, you have already lost to the Red Edge." Donnie's heart sank as he realized the gravity of the situation. Donnie turned to Gorvin confused, uttering, "Where am I? And what the hell is this place? If I died, then how am I still standing? | shouldn't even be standing or talking." Gorvin gave him a knowing look and replied, "You are in what you built, Mr. Jace. A place called Soris - a place beneath Earth and beyond anything in this world," Gorvin replied to Donnie. "The Soris?" Donnie asked in disbelief. "Yes, it's a place that connects infinite thousand multitudes." Gorvin confirmed. "The multiverse?" Donnie repeated in shock. Gorvin gave a nod before replying, "Down here in Soris, we protect the proper flow of realities, making sure worlds aren't harmed by any beings in the cosmos." Donnie muttered to himself, "The multiverse is real." Gorvin replied,
"Indeed it is, Mr. Jace." Confused, Donnie asked, "But why am I here? If I died, shouldn't I not be breathing or standing?" "As your guide, Mr. Jace, I must protect you at all costs," Gorvin replied. "When you met your demise, I brought you here because you have a higher purpose in your future that you must fulfill." Gorvin's voice took on a solemn tone as he warned, "If you die, Mr. Jace, Soris will cease to exist and words will fall into a never-ending abyss of silence. You hold the key to our existence." Donnie's eyes widened in shock as he realized the gravity of his words. "You're saying... the multiverse and Soris... it's all in my hands?" he repeated, his voice barely above a whisper as the weight of the universe settled on his shoulders. Donnie turned his gaze away from Gorvin and towards the large city in the distance. "I built all of this?" Gorvin's voice was barely above a whisper as he fixed Donnie with his piercing gaze. "You and your band of heroes," he began, his lips barely moving. I am not at liberty to say, as you have not yet reached that point."
Donnie turned to Gorvin, his eyes narrowed in suspicion. "My future self was the one who built Soris, wasn't he?" he asked, taking a few steps closer. Gorvin nodded slowly, his eyes never leaving Donnie's face. Donnie turned back to the city in the distance, his expression resolute. ' have to go back," he said firmly. "My city, my friends, they need me."
"It's merely impossible to go back, Mr. Jace, Gorvin said, trying to reason with Donnie. But Donnie turned to him and replied with conviction, " I have to, My city is counting on the OutMan to protect them, including my friends." Donnie paced back and forth, his hands balled into fists. He couldn't accept that he couldn't go back to his city. He muttered to himself, "There has to be some way I can go back. I can't just abandon them." Donnie's eyes widened, a wild idea forming in his head. "What if I traveled back in time?" he exclaimed. But Gorvin quickly intervened, "It is forbidden to time travel to any time, whether it's the past, present or future. You could jeopardize history" Donnie felt frustration and desperation growing inside him. "The Red Edge went back in time to kill me for something that happens in the future, and you're gonna tell me that I'm not allowed to do it? I can't just sit back and let him run my city," he protested, his voice rising. Donnie's face hardened with
determination. "I'm the OutMan, and I'm gonna do whatever it takes to save my city and my friends, even if it means I have to time travel to any point in time," he declared firmly and resolutely. Gorvin leaned forward, his eyes serious and stern. "Time is a delicate thing, Mr.
Jace, he warned. "Please be careful and be aware that if anything is changed, history won't be the same. The consequences could be catastrophic."
Donnie looks at Gorvin with a serious expression and says, "Gorvin, I need your Help to Get me back to the exact moment when I gained my powers." Gorvin warns Donnie with a grave tone,
"Are you absolutely certain you want to do this? If so, you must remain hidden and avoid all contact with anyone in the past, as it could potentially jeopardize history." Donnie nods resolutely, Donnie replies with determination, " have to do this" Gorvin tells Donnie, "Good luck, Mr. Jace Soris. The world depends on you." With a flick of his hand, Gorvin creates a vibrant-colored wormhole just a few feet away from Donnie. Turning towards it, Donnie approaches the vibrant-colored wormhole and gives Gorvin one last longing look before jumping into it.
Donnie falls through time, seeing branches of other timelines that were splintered infinitely, each one leading to a different outcome and destiny. He marvels at the infinite possibilities and wonders.
