"I'm sorry can you please repeat that again?" I asked incredulously.

"I need you to go with Jayden to his pack." Mom repeated back, word by word.

I held her wrist and pulled her closer to the back door and away from the cafe.

"Are you insane and out of your mind?! I can't go to the Blue Moon Pack and you know why!" I whisper-yelled at my Mom.

"You can and you must." She insisted. "Because you have to redeem yourself and correct the mistakes you did in the past."

"I can't correct all of my mistakes!" I cried out frustratingly.

"Listen to me first before you throw your tantrum!" Mom scolded. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

"The Blue Moon pack is still being attacked by rogues. Rogues clad in black attire and move like shadows." Mom said and I looked at her annoyed.

"Maybe few might have survived, what am I supposed to do about it?" I argued.

"Which means they survived and they would not back off of their initial goal..." Mom tried to make me understand and soon many things made sense. And it made my blood run cold.

They survived.

Which means I had not stopped them at all...

Just delayed their plans.

And all those people who came- wanted Revenge.

"Shit," I cussed and Mom swatted my hand.

"Watch that language," she warned.

But then if they came all the way here...

They know where I am.

They know with whom I am.

They know that my family is my weakness...

They are not safe.

"Sorry Mom, I'll try to change..." I muttered and let out a deep sigh.

"Do you think we would be able to go back to London?" I asked jokingly.

Mom shook her head, "We cannot run away from them anymore Melody, it time you face them head-on. Especially now-"

"-Especially now since Bella will be going." I finished.

This is going very bad.

I had to fix this...

"Okay." I told mom and she smiled.

"But I have some conditions," I told Mom.

"I'll tell you later, now let's go out. We can't let the Alpha wait," I joked and we stepped out of the kitchen.

I looked to see Alpha Jayden sitting at the table near the counter. He smiled when he saw us but his smile didn't reach his eyes. The plate was untouched and so was the Tea.

Something was wrong.

"Sorry we had to discuss something," Amara said and Jayden said "No problem at all."

But his eyes went out of focus for a second and soon with a couple of seconds Micheal called up from upstairs.

"Amara? Could you please come up for a second?" Micheal said peeping out of the kitchen door.

"Sure Micheal, what's wrong?" Mom asked and left us alone while they whispered to each other.

As soon as the footsteps faded away, Jayden stood up and so did I. His face expression turned into something cold.
