Jennie's Pov

The day has come. Our college journey has done. Finally after a long, long way of struggling, headaches and stress its finally over.

Our Professors and instructors are all here supporting all of their students.

Sabi nga nila kapag may natapos may mag sisimulang panibago. At sa buong four years ko sa college 'thankfully' marami naman akong natutunan. :)) (we?)

My parents were here. Supporting me on this phase of my life. Expectedly, students and guardians were separated from each other until their class section was called at the stage to claim their diploma's.

The MC started the introduction by mentioning the presence of the Dean, Executive director and Instructors of this University etc etc. This is the bored part of this ceremony I know you knew it all. ;)

I just looked around the place until my gaze landed on Taehyung's class. He looks so happy right now, I could tell. He's talking to one of his friends, obviously bored too for this introduction thing when his gaze met mine.

As soon as our gaze met his smile became wider as usual. I smiled back at him and mouthed that he needs to behave. He zipped his mouth immediately and winked at me. I just rolled my eyes because of his antics.

When I finally turned my gaze on my classmates I noticed that Lisa isn't here yet.

Lisa is the kind of person that will treasure the time as precious as gold and it's weird that she's not already here. Sa totoo lang kung ikukumpara ko ang grades ko at grades nya ay siguradong wala akong binatbat cause I know she really loves studying.

She likes learning new things. Geez, where the heck is that person.

The introduction continues and the recieving of our diploma were about to start but still no sign of Lisa. I'm worried because I know this kind of 'special day' that only happens once in a lifetime is totally the thing that Lisa doesn't want to be missed.

The ceremony goes on smoothly untll the MC called for our class to walk up on stage to claim our diploma's in an alphabetical orders. I was panicking mentally because Lisa hasn't been here yet.

All I could do was to scan every corner of this whole gymnasium as if I can. Still Lisa is out of sight.

My surname was called by the MC and I made my way up to the stage, glancing at the gymnasium's entrance door from time to time hoping to see Lisa rushing in here to claim her diploma.

I reached the stage and thankfully accepting my diploma. I was a little lost, coz I am concentrating in listening to the MC's.

"Kim, Jennie."
"Kim, Yeri."
"Kirby, Do-hyun."
"Lee, Sunmi."
"Lee, Jihye."
"Luo, Szhang."

..

"Maito, Yeong."
"Minatozaki, Sana."
"Myoui, Mina."

Wait? What? I didn't heard Lisa's name. Baka hindi napansin ng MC ang pangalan nya, imposible namang bagsak si Lisa at hindi makaka graduate right? And I still remembered that her surname was the first 'M' on the List. So bakit hindi sya nabanggit?

I'm currently battling with myself kung tatanungin ko ba ang MC about sa hindi nya pag tawag sa pangalan ni Lisa.

But I surrendered. Thinking that obviously there's a tough reason behind her absence.

The ceremony has finally ended. My parents walked up to me and smile proudly at me when they reached the area I am standing right now.

"Congratulations my princess! Just continue making us proud, we love you." Dad said as he hugged me.

"Congratulations too honey, remember that you still have a long journey to experience until you became the person you want to be in the future. We're always at your side, always remember that." Mom said lovingly and hugged me too when my dad broke our hug.

"So, where my princess wants to eat?" my father asked but I didn't payed attention to that and just scanning every faces here. I sighed in disappointment when I still didn't see her.

"Hey babe, looking for me?" Taehyung suddenly appears giving me a bear hug, reason for me to be caught off guard.

"Congratulations to us babe! Finally graduate na tayo." Taehyung cheered and I looked at him and smiled timidly.

"Yeah, finally." I mumbled.

"Oh, Hi uncle and auntie! Kumpleto pala tayong lahat. Uhm, why don't you come with us? Actually dad already reserved a platinum vip room at the 'Shangrila Hotel' for us to have a dinner tonight. So how is it?" Taehyung said excitedly.

Joy filled his face at this moment making me to contemplate of what to answer, because I am not in the mood to face his family today.

"Hm, that sounds too good to be rejected but we already have a plans for tonight's so I'm sorry for declining your offer this time." my dad replied gently to him.

"Oh, is that so? Alright, see you around." Taehyung nodded at my dad and hugged me before he left with his family.

"So, let's go shall we?" my dad.

We are about to go when I saw someone whom connected to Lisa.

"Jeongyeon!" I nearly shout but gladly that she heard it.

"Zup Jen! What is it?" she replies.

"Did you know why Lisa aren't here today? I'm just worried because I know how much important this graduation day for her." I asked softly.

"Uh- About that, uhmm. Actually Lisa already left." she answered hesitantly. All of a sudden I got nervous to what she's going to say next.

"Huh? To where? What Province? That sudden?" i rambled nervously.

"Nope, To Thailand her family's hometown." she fidget the hem of her toga shirt.

I just stared at her blankly, not knowing what to say. I'm just standing and preventing myself not to cry.

"W-why? Bakit sya umalis agad? Ni hindi manlang sya umattend ng graduation day? Ganun ba ka urgent ang pag alis nya? Hindi man lang sya nag paalam." I said frustratedly

"You knew what Lisa have felt for you right?" she asked firmly and I nodded.

"But you choosed the path that you think is right so, yeah I understand you. But you need to understand Lisa too. She's hurting. My friend was devastated when she learned that Taehyung already proposed to you and probably you said yes." I looked away, and wiped a lone tear that escaped from my eyes.

"Intindihin mo nalang Jen, na ginawa ni Lisa yon hindi para makatakas sa sakit na mararamdaman nya kundi para bigyan ka ng kalayaan na maging masaya sa piling ng iba." she said and patted my left shoulder softly before she left me there staring at her disappearing figure.

'Why I felt hurt? Why it feels so heavy? I didn't noticed that I'm already crying right now and my parents are gently caressing my back to soothe and to comfort me.

But why the pain still remained?
