CHAPTER NINE

Jennie's Pov

It's been two months since I graduated. And it's been months since the last time I've seen Lisa.

For two months Lisa has been invading my mind. Two months I felt the longing for her for some reason that I can't even explain.

Hindi ko dapat nararamdaman 'to. But still, it feels that something in me was incomplete.

My wedding preparation is currently on going. I have still a month to prepared and to think of I don't know what. My families and Taehyung's family were excited for our upcoming wedding. Unfortunately I doesn't feel the same intensity of excitement in my body.

Taehyung and I sometimes get to an argument but he's being patient on me, my mood swings these days really sucks it up.

I know how much the love he has for me and I don't wanna be the reason for his heartache. Actually he's to good to be true. He's kind and gentle to me in the most genuine way.

He's a complete package, a husband material if I may add. Pero yung pakiramdam na buo ako ay hindi ko maramdaman pag sya ang kasama. I can't even see my future being with him or a future of him with kids. Maybe he doesn't deserve someone like me.

Someone who's not even sure to themselves.

I'm currently here at our living room together with my parents. They are on leave at their work, helping me with my wedding preparations when the door bell rangs.

I immediately got up on my sit and made my way to the front door just to reveal two bulky cops wearing their decent uniforms with a badge that it seems that they are in a higher positions.

"Good afternoon, I am Major Park and this is General Lee can we talk Mr. Kim for awhile? This is an urgent matter if you may please." Major Park asked in a polite but with his firm tone as a Major I guess.

"Ah, yes of course officers. Tuloy po kayo." I said politely and lead them to our living room.

My parents were surprised to see the two officers standing in front of them, reason for them to stand up abruptly.

"Uh, officers what brought you here this sudden?" my dad asked confused.

"Good afternoon Mrs. and Mr. Kim. Mr. Kim We're here to discuss something important to you, this is really urgent." General Lee spoke with firmness.

"Oh, Good afternoon to you too Major Park and General Lee, please take a sit." my dad greeted them with the same firm tone.

"Do you like coffee or something?" My mother asked them with hospitality.

"Water is fine, thank you." General Lee said and nod.

My mother went to the kitchen while my father offered me to sit beside him and I obliged.

"Mr. Kim hindi na ho ako mag papaligoy ligoy pa. Because all of these is all about the kidnapping case of your daughter." General Lee continues.

"We investigated all the possibilities na pwedeng maging mastermind ng pang kikidnap sa anak nyo and it lead us to one of your stock holder, Mr. Jung."

"That bastard!" Dad roared angrily.

"These is all the files and the details and statements of some witnesses including the one you caught during the kidnapping time. Mr. Jung payed them just to abduct your daughter and used her for a ransom. Ransom na nagkakahalaga ng buong shares nyo sa kompanya nyo mismo. Mr. Jung was a greedy man behind his quiet and kind features, Mr. Kim. And napag alaman din namin na matagal na pala itong nakaplano but when that day comes it failed miserably nang dahil lang sa isang tao na sumunod sa mga kidnappers nang araw na iyon." Major Park put down a brown envelope and scattered all the evidences in front of us.

"I'm so stupid for thinking na gawin syang vice president ng kompanya ko kapag naging presidente na ang anak ko, sa kadahilanang sya na ang gagabay dito dahil ang buong akala ko ay sya lang ang mapag kakatiwalaan ko sa lahat!" Dad spitted angrily just in time mom arrives at the living room and put down all the snacks and water for our guest then proceeded to my father's side and calm him down.

"Just yesterday ay kare-released lang ng warrant of arrest nya and we need to arrest him immediately so I sent my most trusted men to do all the task. When we arrived here earlier I received a confirmation na hawak na nila si Mr. Jung." General Lee confirms.

"Oh, thank you officers. I'm very grateful that you solved this case early morethan estimated. Now they can't hurt my family anymore as if hahayaan ko pang hindi mabulok sa bilangguan yung taong yon." my dad said and pats my head.

"That is our job Sir." Major Park says and take one last sip of his water.

Just then the two officers stood up as we did the same.

"We are really grateful officers. Thank you very much." My mom said and bowed with so much respect and me and my father did the same as a gratitude.

"Thank you too for your cooperation for this. And by the way you owe that kid who told and followed the kidnappers that day, 'she's' really brave." Mr. Park and Gen. Lee chuckled.

I'm a little confused just by now of who's that kid they were talking. Is it Taehyung? He's there, but why they said a she?

"Thank you again for your time Mr. Kim, we'll get going now." Mr. Park smiled then we lead them in the front door and bid our goodbyes.

"I guess we really owe a big time that kid now." Dad spoke when we reached back the living room.

"Dad I'm a little clueless of that person you were talking, hindi ba si Taehyung yung sumunod sa mga kidnappers na yon at nag ligtas sakin? But why it seems like they're referring to a girl who did that?" I asked him with my eyebrows furrowed.

My dad chuckled.

"Sino ba kasing nag sabi sayo na si Taehyung ang nag ligtas sayo that day? Yeah, he's there but it doesn't mean na sya yung talagang nagligtas sayo. Kasabay ko sya that day na nakarating sa area na yon, we just get the info about your disappearance from someone you also knew." Dad said and looked at me meaningfully.

And I felt my heart beating fast waiting for his next word.

"It's Lisa."
