023- bring your dad to fucking school day
(outfit at the top)
The two arrived late the next day. Eloise was wide awake. She was eager to see her mother. This was probably the longest they have been without each other. Call them dramatic, but it was really a different thing for them. Hopefully, the next time Valentina goes to a race, Eloise would be beside her.
After getting off the plane in Monaco, Carlos and Isa also came out for some fresh air, the two saw Pascale and Eloise waiting for them next to a car.
After Eloise saw her mother come out of the plane, she instantly ran over to her. Valentina was so happy to see her daughter again. She jogged down the stairs from the plane and opened her arms, where her child jumped into them.
Eloise hugged her mother and Valentina held her in her arms tightly.
"Oh I missed you so much Elly." Valentina sighed, not letting go off her.
"I missed you so much too Mama." Eloise said.
Valentina felt a presence behind her and turned around to see Charles standing behind them. She put Eloise on the ground, where she went and hugged Charles too.
"Hi Charles." She said happily.
"Hey Eloise." He said while picking her up.
"Guess what?" Eloise smiled.
"What?"
"Pascale made your favourite cookies for today, but we ate them all watching Mamma Mia last night." She giggled. Charles did a dramatic gasp and started tickling her on her stomach.
Valentina watched them with a smile on her face before turning around to see Pascale walking towards her.
The older woman smiled at the younger and welcomed her into a hug with her arms wide open. Valentina hands met behind Pascale, crossing over and the two rocked side to side a bit, just enjoying the moment.
"How was it?" Pascale asked, breaking away from the hug.
"A needed getaway." Valentina sighed "And was so amazing to see Charles race too, so happy he won." She smiled, letting her hands drop to the side of her. "I hope Eloise wasn't too much trouble." She said looking at her daughter speak to Carlos.
"She was fine, a well-behaved child, I must admit. You did good raising her Valentina." Pascale told her with a smile on her face, rubbing the younger adults shoulder, before making her way to her child and also embracing him in a tight hug.
No one really says anything about Valentina's parenting. And if they did, it would be negative. All what she thought they would say, that Eloise needs a father figure in her life.
But in Valentina's mind, she raised her well. Without a second pare of hands to help. And she managed to maintain a well-paying job, without a man. Matter of fact, it was her business she could maintain. The business she built from scratch, some money help from her parents, but apart from that, nothing else.
And she managed to do it, studying in university and pregnant or already having Eloise. Although it took a massive hit in her mental health, with her at multiple times almost giving up, she still did it all without a man.
