039- You were gone too long
(outfit at the top)

Charles was coming back today.
He had spent two weeks away from them and they missed him a lot.
The season was almost over and there was only two races left, Brazil and Abu Dhabi. Valentina was going to come with him to Brazil, while Eloise was going to stay in Monaco, but travel with Pascale to Abu Dhabi for the last race of the season. Just so she wasn't missing too much time off school.
His last race was in Mexico and he had gotten sixth. Honestly, she was so proud of him even though he knew he could've done better.
It was halloween the previous day and Eloise went as a fairy. Tinkerbell she called herself. However it wasn't a green dress, it was purple and her hair wasn't in her iconic bun, but down. Nor did she have her shoes. But Valentina let her imagination run wild.
She went trick-or-treating with one of her new friends from class, who lived close to them.
Most of the children in her class know that she is close to Charles, so a lot of them are close to Eloise or they just want to be friends with her.
However, she missed him. She missed his presence. The apartment felt different without him. She missed waking up beside him. It was only for two weeks, however she couldn't help but feel upset without him. Eloise missed him too.
Only Valentina was going to pick him up from the airport, seeing as though Eloise was still in school when his flight arrived (one in the afternoon).
Everyone was very excited to see him again after the time he was gone. And they were very clear about that. The following days to his arrival, they wouldn't stop talking about how happy they were he was coming back. Pascale would tell them that she was going to make him his favourite meal for the night he's back. Eloise would talk with him about the races. And Lorenzo would just be happy with his company.
She was wearing something comfy. Plain flair black leggings and a black vest-like top with some white shoes and a white jacket.
She had driven Eloise to school then went to work for a bit before going to the airport to pick up Charles. It was a sort of chaotic morning, but nothing she couldn't handle.
Valentina arrived at the airport early, so she decided to treat herself to a Starbucks, which she hadn't had in ages. Her order was a green tea and a croissant with chocolate in the middle.
There wasn't a journalist in sight or anything to do with media, so she hoped that it would be a quiet pick up.
He was supposed to message her for when the plane lands so she could get ready to get him. He was landing at one, but that meant that it would take him about fifteen or twenty minutes to get from the plane to her because he had to do all of the security stuff and he had to get his bag.
She got the message around five minutes past one and she got up ready to see him again.
The airport wasn't busy, if anything it felt like a ghost town. There wasn't many people there.
She waited for what felt like ages, but finally she saw the familiar brunette walking towards her with his bag trailing behind him.
His smile grew as soon as he saw her and she walked towards him.
