After what happened a few days ago, Valentina has been on edge ever since. She has looked around but not seen him. Charles also has been looking but too not seen him.

She told Genevieve about it the next day who was so angry. She didn't like him even before she got pregnant. Said he was manipulating and controlling, which now she looks back, he was.

At the start their relationship was amazing. Gabriel would bring her meaningful gifts. Say the kindest words to her. Supported her throughout everything.

But as time went on, he didn't see her as much. He stopped giving her gifts. She wasn't complaining though. And he would say rude stuff to her.

When the anniversary of her parents death came around once she turned eighteen, she went through a massive depressed time. They wouldn't see her as an adult. It hurt her so much. She started not caring about studying, wouldn't go to the gym as frequent as she used to and ate a lot.

He would call her endless of rude things. Things she hated thinking about now. It hurt her so much.

When she came out of that time, Valentina started focusing on herself, she ate a healthy diet and went to the gym. Her exam scores went up and she was doing good. Her mental health wasn't good though.

Gabriel started threatening her to do stuff. Like have sex or wear short, tight and revealing clothes. She wasn't comfortable doing that. The stuff that came out of his mouth, she wished she had broken up with him sooner.

He forced her to drink and go out clubbing while she would rather be studying for an exam that was soon. He controlled her every move and sometimes got her to skip class.

She knew this was bad, yet she was so in love with him. She didn't know what to do.

Then, she was went to see a therapist, she recommended breaking up with him. She was too in love with him though and couldn't.

And only a year or two later, she found out she was pregnant with Eloise.

When he found out the news, he freaked and ran away. New university, new life.

She wanted to keep the baby. His family wasn't going to get involved and cut off contact with her. Valentina's family was so supportive though. They looked out for her and helped with university work.

When she told Genevieve that he ran away, she was so mad. She wanted to break every single bone in his body and feed him to a bunch of hungry lions.

He was gone, there was nothing she could do. Unless she had a secret agency where they tracked people down, she couldn't do anything else.

Charles had a similar reaction to when she told him the story. He was livid that someone could
just leave their girlfriend like that.

She was thankful she managed to get out of that relationship. It was unhealthy and now she understands the signals and what to do and what not to do.
