"Well this sucks" I remarked placing a backpack on Fioans boyfriend's floor

"Tori!" Fiona hissed

I rolled my eyes at her, walking around and observing the place.

"Up to your standards?" He asked me jokingly

"Dont try to be funny" I replied dryly

"He's giving us a place to stay! Be greatful!" Fiona said irritated at my attitude

"Only cause you'll suck him off later" I hissed before making eye contact with his kid

"TORI!" Fiona exclaimed angrily

I let out a huff before walking out his shitty apartment.
I spent the next few nights couch surfing and staying with Lip and Carl on some occasions.

"You gotta come NOW" Carl exclaimed put of breath down the phone

"What? Why?" I said confused walking around the streets

"Its Nick, meet at the address i sent out QUICK" He said before hanging up

He sent me an address that was afew blocks down, I ran down there and caught up with Carl on a stolen skateboard. Nick was sat on a pourch afew doors down.

"Shit..." I sighed seeing him covered in blood as we approached

"What did you do man?" Carl said upset

We looked inside the house, a kids dead body on the ground with his mum crying over him. Carl threw up off the pourch where as I just stared down at Nick.

"Go." He said quietly

"No man..." He said

Sirens quickly approached us

"Carl, we have too" I said grabbing his arm

We ran to the other side of the street as cop cars pulled up. Carl stood helpless watching, I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"We have to go." I said to him

We ran off down the street and decided to go back down to Sean's apartment but not tell anyone about Nick.

"Hold on a sec" Sean laughed through the door before opening it

He turned to face us both, Carl and I both stood there awkwardly.

"Come in" He said moving out the way

Fiona was laughing with his son Will and Liam, her head turning to us as we stood awkwardly in his apartment.

"What are you two doing here?" She asked, her laughter slowing but still continuing as she played with the boys

"Forget it Carl" I dismissed shaking my head and walking towards the front door

"Tori" Carl sighed as he grabbed my arm

"Look you stay, i just cant" I sighed looking at him in the eyes

"Whats going on?" Fiona asked walking over to us

"Nothing." I said finally leaving the apartment and walking down the corridor to the stairs

"Tori?" Fiona said walking out into the hall and watching me walk away

I wandered the streets, continuing to couch surf and bunk with anyone i could for another a-few days. I felt drained and everyday I would go out and try find a house we could buy or even a way to get the old house back.
Over a week I had collected some possible houses and decided to finally go see Fiona and Carl to show them.
