random fact i just found out today about some of my ancestors!:
My 11th & 12th Great grandmother's were accused of being witches! (not in salem! sorry to disappoint )
they were mother and daughter 🤭
but in different towns (& times)
if you wanna read there little story.
Lydia Gilbert
(mother)Katherine Harrison
(daughter)and this is even more random
but i've found so much on my native american ancestors i thought i'd find like five from each side but i've found so much like im still in shock.and im mad that im not 25% native but only 10% 😭 and the reservations will only except you to become like a tribal member if you're 25%. i just want to feel closer to my native american heritage but no because i'm not 25%. like how many people do you think are 25%? there's not a lot because they murdered SO MANY NATIVE AMERICANS.
AND ABRHAM LINCOLN NOT SUCH A GOOD GUY!
President Abraham Lincoln provided a list of 39 names of prisoners to be executed. One received a last minute reprieve. On the morning of December 26, 1862, in front of an estimated crowd of 4,000 spectators and on a specially constructed mass-hanging scaffold, the men were executed. They were left dangling from the scaffold for a half hour.
and then (about a week later)
President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation on January 1, 1863, announcing, "that all persons held as slaves" within the rebellious areas "are, and henceforward shall be free."
yes, i'm happy he freed the slaves. but you just murdered a bunch of people. it's just makes me so upset.
so here we're a few facts and a little (big) rant
have a nice day, Annabell
