Ever since the fandom lost it's mind over Clotted Cream there has been Super Epics; Cookies in between the epic and legendary tier.
At first it was ok. The gacha system was unique and I enjoyed it pulling for rewards and the cookie. There are currently 6 Super Epics and at first there was a good pattern going on, them being related to cookies in the tiers above:
Clotted cream is Pure Vanilla's grandson, Oyster is related to Black Pearl, Sherbet is basically Frost Queen's adoptive son, Stardust is Moonlight's younger brother, Capsacain has powers similar to Fire Spirit- he's not in the game yet they could be related somehow,
And then there is... Shining Glitter?! Hold up! Who let you in! Your an epic from Oven break, you're not related to any of the legendary cookies! I don't think you've even interacted with them!
Even with the clear odd one out there is an even bigger problem with the tier; the release and the gacha.
First was Clotted cream along with the major Odessey update and there was plenty of breathing room between Oyster and Clotted cream's release. They both had an item gacha similar to the guild gacha only if you pull 9 different items you get them instantly. Now that was good, players could get some rewards in the process. Also there was plenty of breathing room between Sherbet and Oyster's release.
Then there super epics got there own Nether gacha, starting with Stardust who was in part 2 of the Moonlight 2nd anniversary update. Stardust getting his nether gacha DIRECTLY after Moonlight that wasn't to good.
Then there was Capsacian's nether gacha- right after his release was another charge cookie so many players {me included} had hardly any charge skill powder left. Then right after that ANOTHER nether gacha with ANOTHER Super epic was released.
Case and point, super epics are becoming more of a problem. The Super Epic pattern is now being broken and if Shining Glitter can be a super epic then what's the difference anymore between epic and super epic?
