Did any of you guys play the VR game? I feel like it was mostly forgotten. Screw it there is lore in there! Some of the most important lore across the games.

In the game we get a new villain; Darkest Lord cookie.

In the opening cutscene we get a conversation between the hope of cookie souls and our main man where he swears that no matter how many times Gingerbrave reincarnates, he'll kill him.

Now this implies a whole lot about the timeline;

Every cookie run game opens with Gingerbrave escaping the oven [his reincarnation]

Now it would also mean either

A) Almost every cookie reincarnates with Gingerbrave

B) 'Reincarnation' is more like a timeline retry button with some new changes.

But he's never been featured in any other game, it's always Dark Enchantress. Darkest Lord in this game is all about keeping the cookies from escaping, so he lives in the Witch's Castle.

HMMMM....

It's oddly suspicious that we haven't heard about Dark Enchantress featuring in Witch's Castle- the latest game to the roster.

With the current direction Kingdom is going in and these new games, it seems the Devs are going to give us more on the witches, and Darkest Lord by proxy.

But with all this talk on timelines, who's been oddly silent about Gingerbrave's existence? Timekeeper cookie, the one who's supposed to be in charge of the timelines. The only time she really recognizes Gingerbrave's existence is a piece of dialogue on her relationship chart calling him a meaningless.

That may be the real reason nobody knows about Darkest Lord cookie, while he's locked up in the Witch's castle trying to kill this one meaningless variable everyone else is trying to protect the world from one angry Enchantress. If Timekeeper says Gingerbrave is meaningless, Darkest Lord is by proxy.

But is Gingerbrave really that insignificant? Stay tuned for part 2.
