Okchun's Red Flags

I find it oddly ironic that while writing this the red flags trend is everywhere on my feed.

Also I'm still laughing because when Yakgwa village was released people we're begging for her to be playable and now months laters the Devs r like: remember that chick fans we're screaming about? Let's make her playable.

Alright this new event story is fun but Hard mode is painful and I haven't even begun on Crazy mode. Ranting aside let's talk about some bright red flags waving everywhere around this girl.

First and most obviously Gin dude constantly being like: I sense a ghost but where is it? Then there was the whole bit in the third boss where everyone is like Okchun can't be possessed by a ghost she's to pure for that! Then she just has the most evil sprites seconds later.

Some more subtle signs would be Okchun sacrificing herself to the monsters now this can either be the ghost in her knowing it'd be safe from what the other ghosts could do to her or the darker interpretation of the ghost not caring about the body its using and maybe even purposely wants to kill Okchun.

There is also the clever bit where she does not remember the mouse from the previous Yakgwa village storyline. This could just as easily been brushed off as the stress of the attacks making her forgetful.

I also wanted to point out how Okchun sprites appear more hostile while interacting with Gin dude. She appears extra hostile when Gin asks about the protective ghosts not scaring her off to which she responds 'I'm determined to protect the village' with a very passive agressive sprite.

There is also the bit that got me most suspicious of Okchun and that is her excuse for not getting the protection materials saying she had to help in an arguement and convinently forgot to get the charms that could save her whole town.

There is also the bit that may have been caused by Okchun's ghost. There is a scene where Gin feels very sleepy and nearly gets scammed for a magic mat. I like to think that Okchun's ghost was the cause of it somehow like the ghost left Okchun for a bit to disrupt his sleep.

Was any of these bits new perspectives for you? Do you know anything I may have missed? Let me know! {also can we agree the night scene in Okchun's room gives similar vibes to that one Little Mermaid scene with Ursula and the mirror}
