Paris was empty without him. But it had already been months since he left. Months since she last saw him. And though she didn't want it to be, it was ok. It was ok that their last goodbye had already happened. It was ok that they shared their last moments together sitting on the edge of a building, looking at the lights, the stars.

Marinette was walking through the halls of her boarding school, her shoes clicking against the tile. She had just finished a very busy day at her work and was ecstatic that she was finally home. Thats when she heard a familiar voice. Such a familiar voice behind the staircase of the wealthy school. It sounded just as his voice sounded. Chat noir's.
She approaches it quietly, then she sees a boy.
Adrien Agreste. One of the most successful people in the whole school, including the teachers. Adrien Agreste, the boy with the most pristine image ever.
"Listen to me, don't ever talk to him again. Do you understand?!" He screams into his phone, sending chills down her spine. His sister cries.
"No, you don't understand Adrien. I-" she says between sniffs.
"ARLYN AGRESTE. Don't talk to him ever again, or I'm going to kill him." He says the last part quietly, almost like a whisper, before he ends to call. He throws his phone to the ground, and it shatters. The glass scatters across the floor, the scene almost looks like a painting. A 'sending chills down your spine' painting.
The dim lit room, the glass shattered around the boy on the marble floor with a mix of colors. And the boy's eyes filled with fire and water at the same time. This strong emotion that no one could really capture in words or in shapes and colors. That's what Marinette thinks when she sees him. She isn't intimidated by his loud noise, acting like a child in the middle of a public area. She think's nothing of it.
Then he sees her, his fiery gaze meets hers. But she doesn't stay even for a second. She is taken aback by the sudden realization that he can see her as clearly as she can see him. Quickly, she walks away not even glancing back. One thing she knew for sure is that it was none of her business and she did not want to get involved. There was no way that was Chat Noir, he never gets angry like that.
"WAIT!" He exclaims, he runs after her around the corner. Marinette ignores him and walks away as if nothing happened besides an awkward interaction between two classmates. "Wait." He says, stopping in front of her. He wipes his eyes and stops them from watering.
"Rude." She says out loud.
"Well, I did ask you to wait but you didn't listen." He responds, nervously putting his hand on his neck. How do I explain this... well it's best to just tell the truth right? He thinks.
She looks him up and down. What a disrespectful kid, maybe this actually was Chat Noir because the first time they met he spoke just as blatantly. "Move, please." She tells him.
"no."
"...Move!"
"Just wait, ok?" Adrien says softly, the contrast from him earlier and him now shocks Marinette. She waits, quite impatiently though.
"What you saw just now was taken out of context. I don't normally... throw things. See, my younger sisters in love with this complete dirtbag. I know I shouldn't have screamed at her but I just-"
"Ok. I get it, you were frustrated. I have siblings too - I understand so... can I go now?" Marinette says, itching to get back to her dorm to rest and study.
"You won't tell anyone? Please?" He asks, as he puts his hands together in front of him, blocking her view. She shoves his hands to the side as gently as she can and nods. She starts to walk but he stops her again. "Promise?"
