Marinette looks at the clock, only one more hour till she gets off. "Marinette," her boss says in a thick French accent. "You look anxious today, anything happen?" Andre asks from behind the counter.

"What? No, I'm fine, this is just how I look. Thank you for the concern though." She answers, a little discouraged. She was actually in a better mood today and yet her boss thought she was in a worse one. She thinks back to how she looked when she left the houses. Well maybe she did look a little tired, her hair wasn't the tidiest and her eye bags were... there. Definitely there.

"Whatever you say... take it easy today alright?"

"Yeah of course." She responds while wiping her hands on her apron. Ever since she arrived here in Paris, she thought she was going to be alone. Thankfully though, there were people like Andre who didn't tear her differently because of her foreignness. These people didn't make her feel out of place to be around.

The bell above the door rings, meaning another customer came in. "Welcome. Just give me a minute I'll be with you soon." Marinette says, entering the kitchen to grab menus.

"How many people?" she asks, and Adrien's head perks up at the sound of an awfully familiar voice.

"Seven." Nino answers, and she seats them. Adrien looks at her intently, waiting for her to recognize him but she doesn't even look at him, not on purpose though. She is simply too busy to mind that odd feeling of someone staring at her. He continues waiting for her eyes to meet his, but to his dismay they don't.

"Adrien!" Someone waves their hand in front of him to catch his attention. "What are you looking at?" Nino asks. It was Adrien, Nino, Felix, Alya, Rose, Juleka and her older brother, Mylène, Ivan, etc. all hanging out. Nino looks at her. "Dude, don't tell me you like her? I mean there's nothing wrong with that, I'm just shocked. With how many girls you've rejected, and you haven't even had a girlfriend yet-"

"No, I don't like her. I just know her, and I'm trying to get her to recognize me."

"Well, she obviously doesn't want to. It's been like thirty minutes and you're starting to look creepy. Stop staring."

"Fine." Adrien grumbles and his mood is now ruined when he realizes that Nino is right. The door rings again, signaling another person enters. She enters with the brightest color of yellow on, the biggest sunglasses ever, and an even bigger ego. "Sabrina!" She says, and somehow her voice is the most annoying thing the workers has ever heard.

She locks eyes with Adrien and walks up to him furiously. " Adrikins? Sabrina said that you were staring at a girl here. Which girl?" She takes off her sunglasses. "Chloe, calm down. I don't like her, and even if I did then I would have to ask you to calm down. You sound like you're going to attack her." Adrien grudgingly moves so that Chloe could sit.

"No. I'll ask the waitress girl." Chloe says, seeing Sabrina point at the blue haired girl.

"You!" She says to Marinette, who is tapping her fingers on the counter in deep thought.

"Yes?" she responds.

"Get me a chair."

"Ok." Marinette says, not bothered by Chloe's rude tone or her demands. She just grabs a chair and hands it to Chloe. " You have to be joking, I'm not carrying it there! Hurry up and do your job properly you baker girl."

Marinette awkwardly chuckles. "Um, this is a diner?? And I'm the waitress, I don't bake. Why don't you get your boyfriend to come and carry it for you, I saw you walk up to him earlier. I don't see why I have to do it." Marinette simply places the chair down and walks away.
