(Y/N) / FIRST PERSON

I was asked to talk about what had happened to me earlier. I wasn't sure why they needed to know. What would they do with that information?

"(y/n), please tell us what happened. Maybe it could be connected to Ellie."

I stayed inhaled then exhaled before finally explaining my experience.

"It felt like something took over my body. It was controlling me. Everything in my body was burning. It was like I was being eaten alive. It was horrible.-" I pause before I could finish describing the feeling.

"(y/n)?"

"Oh my gosh. I remember." I whispered to myself.

"It was talking to me. It said something along the lines of 'death is here for you'. Then my eyes started dripping blood."

Everybody looked at me like I just fell on my face. This is obviously not normal. I have a feeling this is all connected to the record and book that Danny stole.

"I have to go comfort Kass and Bridge." I leave the room without hesitation.

I walk into the darkened bedroom to see a crying Kassidy and a silent Bridget. I feel awful for Kass because there isn't much that I can do. I hope tonight turns out okay.

I walk over to Bridge and Kass to try my best to comfort them. I take Kassidy into my arms as she cries. I'm not going to lie to her and say everything will be okay when even she knows it won't be. I pet her hair as Bridget tries her best to give Kassidy words of hope but it fails.

"You said it was going to be okay and-!" Kassidy was cut off when we heard Beth yell in fear.

We run into the bedroom to see Ellie sitting up in her bed. I was standing next to Danny not realizing he was holding onto my wrist.

"Mom's alive?!"

Beth goes to touch Ellie's now pale skin. "She's burning up!"

Danny, Beth, and I all grab hold of her and carry her into a cold bath. We had to get her temperature down or else worse things could happen.

Her eyes roll to the back of her head as soon as she slid into the tub of cold water. As soon as she started reacting to the water, I started getting the pain again but this time worse.

"Fuck! Its back! I can't breathe."

"(y/n)!"

I collapse to the ground and everything goes black. I can only hear a loud ringing, Beth's voice, and feel a horrible pain in my head.
