"Oh my god!" I heard Danny scream from the bedroom before dragging me through my pool of blood.

"Kass help me get her inside!"
The two of them drag me inside the bedroom. Silence filled the room, but that was only the calm before the storm. Bridget appeared in the doorway with a pissed off smirk. A smirk full of, "I am going to fucking kill you." She wasn't difficult to read.

"Oh fuck." I dragged myself to the closest bed that I could reach.

I could hear Kassidy crying in the corner but there wasn't much I could do considering I have a knife stuck to my side.

Without much thought I take the knife's handle and pull it out. I let out a heart aching scream but it was the closest weapon I could get to.

Danny runs towards me as I fall to the ground. I wasn't dead but I will be if this demon doesn't die.

Bridget start bolting towards Kassidy but before she could make any moves on the small child, Staffanie had gotten to the demon first.

We all watched as the wooden pole smoothly went through the mouth and skull of the monster. Bridget backed up a little bit and took a long look at all of us. Not much later, she fell to the ground. She was dead.

"Shit." I grumble as I start feeling light headed.

"Holy shit, (y/n)!"

"I'm going to grab supplies!" Beth yells as she runs down the hallway.

"Danny, you go with her. I need to talk to Kass."

Danny sends me a quick nod and follows Aunt Beth.

"Kass, are you okay? Are you hurt?"

She faintly giggles and lets a small tear fall down her cheek. "I'm okay. Traumatized, but okay."

"(y/n). Are you going to die?"

The question hit me like no other. I didn't really know. "Kass, I am not dying today. I promise."

"Good, my brother will need you. I will need you. I think my brother loves you. He talks about you a lot."

Now that is what hit me hard. I don't even have words. Danny doesn't love me. Maybe he does and he doesn't want to tell me.

"I will do everything in my power to take care of him."

Kassidy hugged me gently.

"You would be an amazing girlfriend to my brother. I love you (n/n)."

"I love you, Kass."
