Chapter 3: The Celestial Realm

A gold spell circle illuminates the main deck of the drone, MK touches it up while the others stand on the side. Lin taps Chang'e's shoulder, "So, uh, how does this even work." Chang'e scratches her neck, "Uh, I'm unsure. Mystical interdimensional stuff is hard to explain." MK groans, overhearing the chat, "If we even tried explaining this to mortal wimps, it'd just melt your brains." Red sighs, "And, why did we let Mr. Grumpy Gibbon, help us again?" MK blows raspberries in Red's face, "Because without me, you wouldn't even have a plan! Father-less dirtbag."

Red rolls up his sleeves to fight. Bai pulls her back, "Red, we don't have any other option. We have to trust him." Red pulls her sleeves back down. MK smiles, "Great speech, Bone Brat. How motivational." speaking in a sarcastic tone, he cracks his knuckles, "Alright. Everybody step back!" They do as told. MK places both of his hands on the floor, the spell circle flares up, and the drone sparks with static as a portal opens up in front of them.

MK stands, raising his arms forwards, he quickly gets interrupted by Lin, "So, we're sure mortals can travel to the Celestial Realm, right?" MK groans, "Yes, they can!" MK goes to continue, this time Zhizhu speaks, "Safely?" MK shrugs, "Uh, probably." "PROBABLY!?" Before being able to protest, the drone is sucked into the portal at rapid speed. Being shot out the other side with the drone on fire, the team is huddled together with MK standing as if it was a typical breeze, "Heh, told you it'd melt your brains."

Lin peeks over the railing, "Woah. Guys." Everyone looks to find white and gold palaces, and fencing, over lush green grass. "The Celestial Realm." The drone parks in front of an entranceway, and Zhizhu looks over a written down list (girl, it's only 3 things), "So, special pills, a fancy peach, and a furnace. Where are we gonna find these?" Everyone turns to MK, he goes to respond but remains silent.

Red slides behind MK, catching him off guard, "*Gasp!* What is this?? The Noodle Boy doesn't know?" She speaks with a grin on her face, MK snaps back, "I KNOW THEY'RE SOMEWHERE! Just because my dad was a Celestial, doesn't mean I know everything!" The attention shifts to Chang'e, she sighs and clears her throat, "*Ahem* Well...

From what I remember, a few demons stole the immortal peaches from the Heavenly Orchard so unless they did the sensible thing and moved them, they'll still be there! The pills of the Great Master Lao Tzu, were, stolen by, *Ahem* a certain monkey. But he didn't steal all, so they must still be in Lao Tzu's Alchemy Lab." "And what about the furnace?" "It could be there in the lab, but my guess is it will be in the Jade Emperor's Throne Room."

MK sits up on the railing and cracks his shoulder, "Aight, I'll go get that peach, adios!" Red pulls MK back by his jacket before he could leave, "HEY!" Red grips onto MK like a wild cat, "LIKE WE'D JUST LET YOU RUN OFF ON YOUR OWN!" MK pushes himself away from Red's grip, he stands and pats her head, "Well, how about you wait here, like a good little- OW! OW, OW!" Red bites down on MK's hand and grits their teeth, "I'm keeping you where I can see you." MK swings Red around to yank them off, with no result.

Zhizhu watches the scene unfold, "Alright... I'll get the pills. They're just regular-looking pills, right? You know, all round and shit?" Lin sighs, "I better come too." "Then, I'll get the furnace." Bai responds with her back facing everyone, Zhizhu turns to her, "Are you sure? That place looks real well-guarded." Bai mists away without a response. Chang'e exhales, "Alright, You guys grab the items and get back as quick as you can. I'll stay here and fix up the engines."

Everyone hops off the drone and splits up. On the ship, Chang'e hears whirring behind her, she turns to find the tracking device installed in. "What the... eh, probably nothing."

Bai pops up at the throne room's entrance stairs, she walks up and looks over at the two lion statues on each side of the steps, "Woah, I guess this is the throne room." As she walks past them, their glowing eyes begin to power down. She walks inside to be greeted by a giant hallway, with beautiful white and gold walls.
