Promtp 21: Masquerade

The Mayor invited Ladybug and Catnoir to a Masquerade ball to celebrate his daughter Chloé Bourgeois birthday.

They were on a rooftop discussing about the ball and they decided to go together.Even though Ladybug didn't want to go because of the Mayor daughter which she don't want to say her name but she don't want to let Catnoir go alone.

"I will see you at the ball, M'lady!" Catnoir said, he took his staff gone home, Ladybug gone as well.

She landed on her balcony then detransform, Tikki appears.

"Wow! You two been invited to the masquerade ball!" Tikki said.

"Yeah, but I bet when Chloé sees us she will definitely kick us out less than a second." Marinette climbed down to her bedroom.

"Yeah, but the Mayor invited you both not Chloé and it could be fun." Tikki said, Marinette thought for a moment.

"Maybe your right Tikki!" Marinette sat down at her desk, open her sketchbook. "Also the Ball is in two days, I'm thinking of creating a gown, help me brainstorm some ideas."

Marinette and Tikki spend hours sketching ideas and ideas some of them went into the trash bin and finally they got it.

"Done!" Marinette holds her sketchbook up proud at their sketches of a gown .

"Is beautiful Marinette!" Then they do a fist bump "Pound it!"

"Ok, let's go to the fabric store." Marinette bring Tikki in her bag, leaving her room.

Two days later

"Marinette you look beautiful!" Tikki commented as Marinette look in the mirror wearing her red and black gown, it got glitter sparkle her gown, black sash tied to her waist with a diamond in the middle, hair tied to a bun with red ribbon and her mask was dark red glitter with black spots and has ribbon tie ends at the back. Plus she make a cute blue purse for Tikki to hide.

"Yeah, we better get going, I already told my parents that I will be sleepover at Rose's." Marinette do a last minute checkin herself.

She was ready to go.

"Just say the word!" Her kwami said.

"Tikki spot on!" She transform into Ladybug, climb on her balcony then swing away into the night.

She landed at the front of the Le Grand Paris hotel, hid in a nearby alleyway to detransform.

"Spot Off." She turns back to Marinette, Tikki falls into her hands feeling a little tired.

"I don't bring any macarons with me right now, so when we get to the ball I will get you some food there okay?"

"Ok." Tikki said then Mari put her in her blue purse.

She walks out the alleyway and head to the hotel.

When she got in, she saw a boy in a black tux waiting for the elevator.

And he has golden hair.

She stopped and stared at him.

Could it be.

'Adrien?' Marinette though.

She only saw his backside but that familiar golden hair she cannot be mistaken.

'Maybe Adrien was invited to the ball as well as he is Chloé friend, or his father told him to go. I think should go said hi to him, but will he recognize me as Ladybug even if I wear my fake mask? Or what if he recognize me as Marinette if he did how will I explain to him why I'm at her party which she would never invited me (as if I care obviously) and I could stumble my words at him again.'

As Ladybug still trapped in her thoughts the boy (who could be Adrien maybe) turned around and looks at her.

She snapped out immediately.

'Oh no I should get out of here before he recognize me' She closed her eyes quickly turned around before he saw her face.

As she slowly walks out the lobby, the boy calls her saying:

"M'lady? Is that you?"

She stopped, surprised to hear a familiar voice especially the pet name.

She turned around again to see the boy in front of her.

He was wearing a black tux with green outline and a black ties that has a green paw print, he also wears a black mask with black ribbon tied around his eyes.

"Cat.... noir?" Ladybug said then he walks up to her and smile.

"You look purrfect tonight M'ladybug." He bow at her, the pun she thought yeah that's him alright.

"You look good too Kitty" Catnoir looks up at her little surprise.

"Good? I was hoping you would say: Handsome ,Gorgeous or Charmeowing." He said while posing in front of her which made her laugh hard.

"Well shall we go up M'lady?" Cat said holding his arm out for her to take. Ladybug looped her arm around him as they make their way to the elevator.

"You know, you are charmeowing in this suit Kitty." Ladybug said.

"Really!"

"Nope!" He frown a little. She giggled "Just kidding!".

"Your mean but I love you." They entered the elevator and up to ball room.
