"I don't know what's going on," Arianne looked at Ezra as they sat on their beds, opposite from each other.
"What do you mean?" Ezra inquired.
"They won't let anyone see him except for a few of the crew members."
"Why?"
"I'm not sure. I talked to Dr. Ingle about it and he said that there is no exception. Ezra, you can't visit Kanan."
"Why?"
"He didn't say."
"Can you see him?"
"I can."
"Then why can't I? This is ridiculous! I'm his padawan!"
"I know it's stupid, but it's better for Kanan."

Ezra sighed and fell back on his bed. Arianne was disappointed in herself because of her lies. This was the best and worst day of her life. The silence in the room increased the tension between them. She was hoping that Ezra wouldn't sense that she was lying to him. As she began to calm down, she took a deep breath. Ezra raised his head from his bed and faced towards the sound of her sigh.

"Arianne, are you okay? I sense that you're a little worried," Ezra started.
"I'm just worried about you," Arianne truthfully replied. "This is strange. For you to not be with Kanan."
"Don't remind me...I feel like something happened to him."
"Well don't worry; he's fine. I just don't know why you can't see him."
"Well, at least I can talk to you and the others."
"That's true."

Ezra completely sat up and felt the bed beneath him and then touched his face and his eyes. After pulling his hand away, Arianne noticed him feeling his surroundings. She stood up and began to pace slowly.

"What's wrong?" She asked him as she stopped in her tracks.
"Do you think I'll ever be able to see again? To see you? Kanan and the others?" Ezra inquired.
"Like Dr. Ingle said, depending on the degree of damage done to your eyes, then you may or may not see again. Right now, it's unclear."
"Do you think I'll still be able to fight or at least survive on my own?"

Arianne thought before saying anything. She knew Ezra wanted to help rebel as much as he could.

"I...I don't know," Arianne stuttered, although she thought it would be impossible.
"I wish there was a way I could see without using my eyes," Ezra said.
"That makes absolutely no sense."
"Well...it sounds crazy, but I feel like...never mind. That was just a crazy thought."

Arianne walked over to him and sat down next to him. She wrapped her arm around him. She watched him open his hands and feel the skin on him. After a deep breath, Ezra tried to find Arianne. Arianne reached out for him and brought his hand to her face.

"I'm right here," she calmly said as he turned his head. "You can feel my skin and hear my voice. Let's not only survive, but live. And not only live, but love."
"Did you make that up?" Ezra asked.
"Some of it. The first part was from a voice that spoke to me."
"Well, it's beautiful anyway."

Arianne and Ezra came forwards and began to romantically kiss several times. Ezra moved his hand to feel her hair and cradle her head as she kept her hand on his shoulder.

"Arianne?" Ahsoka knocked from outside their door.

The two lovers pulled away and Ahsoka came in. Ahsoka knew that they were having a moment and began to quickly tell her message to Arianne.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt anything--" Ahsoka looked at Arianne.
"Oh no! You didn't," Arianne said.
"Well, anyway, we have taken the star destroyer away from Hoth and we're going to hover over Endor now. On one of the moons of Endor, there are a group of animals called ewoks. They're friendly if you go up to them without any weapons. We need to be-friend the ewoks for them to help us make a rebel base there. It's good to have as many allies as possible, so I want you to go there and meet them. I'll send you and a small troop to help fight if you're caught by something unexpected."
"Okay, is there anything else that I should know?"
"That's it."
"Can Ezra come along?"
"But he's blind."
"So?"
"On this moon, there are many trees and bushes. He could easily fall if he's not careful."
"Don't worry! I'll be there with him and the droids can come with us!"
"I'm trusting you. I'll set up the troops. Your mission will begin tomorrow."
"Thank you, Ahsoka."
