I woke up on the floor in an awkward position. My arms were stretched out like a bird, while my legs were bunched up.

I checked my watch.

Crap

It was already 11:50, twenty minutes longer than I was supposed to wake up.

Ugh! I couldn't do anything right.

It was still super light out. I guess that the sun had froze along with everything else.

When was this going to end?

For the first time in my life I wanted to hear someones voice. I didn't want to be alone.

I checked my watch.

It felt like hours and hours since I had woke up, but it had only been a few minutes. Three to be exact.

I noticed that the clock in my room had froze.

Thats strange, why hadn't my watch froze? Better yet, why hadn't I froze?

I hated this. The agonizing silence had been driving me crazy.

Back when everyone wasn't frozen every few minutes I would hear little kids laughing, or dogs barking.

I didn't realize how much I appreciated those sounds that I thought annoyed the crap out of me until now.

I longed so much to hear the T.V in my parents room play, or hear some birds chirping.

I glared down at my watch.

11:59

I watched the second hand move.

It seemed like it was moving a mile an hour.

Then something strange happened.

As soon as the second hand hit 12, it started moving backwards, really fast.

Everything in my life was broken, and I mean everything, except for my watch. Of course it had to break.

Great.

I watched the time just go backwards, until it stopped at 5:30, the time I had started playing tennis with the new ball I found.

Had everything unfroze?

I ran down my street and saw the couple holding hands walking.

Actually moving!

I saw the little kids playing ball actually throwing the ball, not frozen.

I ran to the other street I had been at and saw the dog on the lawn pooping.

And the poop was moving. It wasn't frozen in mid air.

That was the first time in my life that I had been so happy about a dog pooping.

"Yes!" I screamed. "Yes yes yes yes yes!"

I screamed some more until an old man started yelling at me.

Finally I wasn't the only one moving.

Finally I wasn't alone.
