After my speech, the hunters brought out their banshees, and all went into different directions, Neteyam, Loak and I leading the way. Loak went into one direction with his group of hunters, Neteyam with his, and myself and Na'yori, along with other hunters, another way. Na'yori wanted to be my translator, and despite all things she did to me, I decided to leave it in the past.
We all went out to different clans. The horse clans of the plain, the ikran people of the mountains. We called for their health, and they answered. Soon enough, we created an army to fight against the sky people.
All the clans came with us to the Well of souls, the Omaticaya greeting them and offering food and water. The people around bonded, but also prepared for the war. Sharpening their weapons, archery training and such. We were not going to let the sky people win this battle.
The other day, Trudy, Norm and I went to check with Max Patel, a scientist ho was on our side, the situation at the lab. Selfride lost control, and Miles took over the pan. They were bombarding and lighting up everything in sight. The Well of souls was the last connection the people had to Eywa, and they were going to ruin it too. We will not allow it.
I wont allow it.
That night, I decided to walk around the Well of souls, to see everything we put together. Everyone was preparing for battle. Painting the bodies of their Ikrns or horses, preparing weapons and painting each others bodies, and putting piercings on. The drums were playing as the were hyping themselves up for battle. We were ready, but I needed to do something before battle.
I kneeled in front of the Mother tree.
"I know Im probably talking to a tree right now, but it's worth a shot." I sighed. "If you hear me, I need to warn you." The tendrils swung back and forth as I spoke.
"Look into Graces memories. The world we come from has no green. They killed our mother, and they are planning to do it with you. If you can hear me, please help us."
"The Great Mother does not take sides Y/n." Someone spoke from behind me. I quickly turn around, only to see the one and only Neteyam. He had freshly braided hair, and paint all over his body. He kneelt down next to me, cupping my face. "She protects the balance of life."
"Worth a shot." I mumbled. I looked up into his eyes, staring into them for a while, before breaking the eye contact and kissing him. Our mouths connected like magnets, considering all the time we spent away from each other.
We pulled away, putting our forheads against each others.
"I see you Y/n." He said.
"I see you Neteyam."
The next day, we were completly prepared for this fight. We had hundereds of hunters on their banshees, gripping onto the cliffs. Neteyam, Na'yori, Loak and I sat on our banshees waiting for Quaritch and his man to come.
On the ground, Norman was waiting on his horse with the other direhorse riders. We all had earplugs in, allowing us to speak amongst one another. We were prepared to attack from all sides.
We heard a loud noise, sending vibrations, making the mountins rumble. The dragon arived, along with a lot of samsons on his sides. The dragons wings opened up, hooking ampsuits and robots with ropes to the ground.
"Get ready Norm." I said over the mic.
"Already on it." He answered.
As soon as the men below started firing their weapons, Norman and his men started attacking from below, bringing them down one by one. Above, the banshee team was waiting for my sign to attack the dragon and the samsons.
