After leaving Cherry and Tomato in the SCP-939 containment area again, I immediately began worrying about what Sebastian and 682 talked about in the containment cell.

What did I do that upset 682 that much? I don't remember doing anything to upset him...

Something fishy is going on. I plan on figuring out what.

It was quite early in the morning, and I figured most people were still asleep. That likely included Sebastian, so I decided to wait until later in the evening to talk to him about things.

I went to the aquarium. Now that it's been so long since 682 crashed through here, it doesn't even look like there was a breach here in the first place.

This place always makes me feel so soothed. There's just something so calming about looking at our underwater friends living in their perfect little ecosystem, right here in our facility.

I put a hand on the glass, inciting one of the fish to swim closer to inspect my fingers. It swam away quite quickly, joining up with its swarm once again.

I let go of the glass window and made my way over to the bar. I could really use a drink.

"Good morning, Bacon. What brings you here so early?" The bartender gave me a broad smile before she poured me some Rum and Coke. "Or should I say so late? You look like you haven't slept for days."

I nodded before grabbing the glass. "Thanks." The bartender smiled back at me before returning to cleaning some cups on the counter. "It's unhealthy to stay awake for more than a day at a time, you know."

I went over to one of the tables sitting next to the aquarium glass and began sipping some of the drink.

If only I could be as carefree as a fish... Just swim around and not have a worry in the world.

I raised my head in suspicion as I heard some boots clicking on the floor. That sounded like high heels, if my hearing is anything to go by.

I looked at the figure which disturbed the quiet peace of the aquarium, and saw it was just some random researcher.

I returned my attention to the aquarium glass and took another sip of my beverage.

The researcher passed me with little regard, and I paid them no attention.

After finishing my drink, I looked at the clock on my wrist display. It's been an hour already?

Sure enough, the clock didn't lie. It was now 06:20. Around the time Sebastian opens his office for visitors.

Almost as soon as I put my wrist down to leave a notification popped up. It was from Sebastian.

Speak of the devil. I opened the messaging app and read his message.

Sebastian: Hey Bacon, swing by my office when you have time, okay? I've got something important to discuss with you.

I smiled slightly. It seems he's calmed down a bit, thankfully.

Bacon: Sure thing Seb. See you in a few.

I closed the messaging app and got up from my seat, leaving a tip for the bartender.

I made my way over to the office building. Seb's office is on the second floor, so I'll take the elevator. I stepped into the elevator, and it began ascending. It didn't take long for the elevator to come to a stop once again, opening with a soft ding.

I stepped out of the elevator. The view up here is always so nice. There's a central walkway crossing above the floor 1 offices with glass railing on the edges leaving nothing to the imagination.
