13. The Hotel Room

The next day you wake up in Tom's arms. You don't mind, but you had planned to go out with Bill today. You get out of bed, take a post-it note and rote down these words:

"Hi Tom! I had to leave early and I'm sorry, let me know when you're awake so I can see you! Y/N."

You leave the note on the kitchen table and put on his clothes before driving to the hotel to change. Bill has to let you know when he arrives so you wait in the room, checking your social networks you see several gossip/drama accounts talking about you.

Intrigued, you click on them and one post follows another. People think you're going out with Tom, they bring up the photo of you running to the hotel, the night out on the town and even the promotional story you did for your sound where people recognized Tom's clothes.

People are convinced that you're dating, you can't believe it, how can they speculate like that without any real proof like a kiss?

But the more you scroll through the posts, the more it all makes sense to people, they even pulled up the post from 3 years ago where you're seen with Tom talking through a window. Your agent then calls you.

Agent - Hello Y/N, are you all right?

Y/N - Yes, and you?

Agent - Yes, thanks, I just have a question, what are you playing at?

Y/N - What are you talking about?

Agent - The whole world knows you're dating Tom Kaulitz.

Y/N - But we're not dating, he's my best friend.

Agent - Are you sure?

Y/N - Yes!

Agent - I trust you but you know you're under contract, you can't date anyone and especially another star.

Y/N - Yes, I know.

Agent - Goodbye.

Y/N - Goodbye.

He hangs up and you start to cry, a lot. It's true what he says, you're under contract you can't be in a relationship to keep the fans who say they're in love with you. If they knew you were a couple, everything would be turned upside down.

Still, you can't help loving Tom. You get a message, it's Bill. "I'm downstairs, you can come down."

You run out of the hotel, Bill is outside the car waiting for you. You run to give him a hug.

Y/N - Hi Bill !

Bill - Hey! How are you? Your eyes are red.

Y/N - Yeah, they're fine, I just had to put some eye drops in them, they're dry.

Bill - If you said so.

Bill and you had planned to go to the cinema before going to karaoke. You arrive, but a lot of people notice you - they turn around, whisper and you feel very uncomfortable about the situation.

Other people, however, see you and ask you for photos, which you happily take before Bill tells you that the film is about to start and you're going to be late.

You settle in and all goes well. At the end of the film you head for the karaoke bar before you receive a message from Tom.

Tom - I've seen your note be at my house at 7p.m so we can see each other.

Y/N - Of course, i will be there.

You replied and continued your karaoke with Bill.

You really had fun with Bill and it's been a long time since you've had this much fun, even though your whole life is in the U.S. your real friends are here. In the U.S. you don't have any real friends, strictly speaking; they're either colleagues or acquaintances, but never people you can have a good time with.
