"I wonder how it feels like to fly in the sky..." I said thoughtfully as I watch another flock of birds passing through the east. ", they look like they're enjoying..." I sighed

"it makes me want to try it too"

"Then why don't you?" Dale turned to me and smiled.

"But how? I don't have wings" I said, waving my arms.

Dale chuckled a little and gestured for me to follow him.

He led me to a big oak tree.

"Let's climb it" he said, already grabbing onto the branches. He swiftly pulled himself up and got higher.

I followed him and started to climb.

"Take my hand" he offered me his hand and I took it.

"Now, close your eyes" he said and I shook my head no.

"I'm going to fall if I do!"

"Do you trust me?" he asked, looking at me straight in the eye.

"Don't get me wrong. It's not that I don't trust you... it's just that..." I know I can be stupid at times... But I know too well what would come next if I happen toclose my eyes while climbing and pulling up from these branches.

"Caroline, do you trust me?" he asked again, this time serious. ", Just answer the question"

.....

"...Yes"

At first, I was hesitant, but then I remembered I was already dead. What else could possibly hurt, right?

", I trust you" I say, more confidently.

"Okay then, close your eyes now and hold onto me." he says.

Slowly, I shut my eyelids to the world and fall into darkness.

I hear the gush of wind and feel it tickling my skin. There's only the sound of the birds that I hear.

I was startled when Dale suddenly pulled me up. He let go of my hand and I quickly gripped the nearest branch that I could grab a hold of.

"Don't let go!" I said. My knees wobbled slightly and I let out a shaky breath.

", please don't let go..." I begged.

"I won't" he said, putting his hand on my waist. "Just relax. I'm going to push you up, okay?"

"Wait, what?!" before I could even process what he was saying, I was pulled up from my feet. I felt my head passing through a cloak of leaves and into the air.

Dale had pulled me up to the top of the tree.

"Don't open your eyes yet" he said, putting both of his palms to cover it.

"Okay..." I mumbled.

"When I count on three, I'll pull my hands away, and that's the time you'll be opening them again"

1...2...3...

I opened my eyes to see the skies. I let out a shrilly laugh and screamed on top of my lungs.

The wind blew hard on my face and I put my arms up to welcome it more.

It felt as if I were really floating in air.

"You can see the whole paradise from up here" Dale said.

He was right.

It looked little from above though.

The waterfall is on the east side and the grass field is on north.

I notice there's a meadow on the west; colorful with all the flowers that surrounded it.

"Hey, Dale... can we go there later?" I asked, pointing out to it.

"Why?"

"I just want to see" I said simply.

Dale only grinned and gave a nod.
