Every person began fulfilling their role to the max. Inner family and outer family alike.

Yunho reported to me every time his eyes or ears reported to him. He kept me updated on all interactions between the different families. He mentioned briefly the day after our meeting that all eyes and ears in the Neo family have gone silent.

Yeosang had locked himself in the data room, adding more protections onto our information, monitoring all authority lines and servers for mention of us, and trying to hack into the Neo database when he can. No luck yet.

Wooyoung and San have been absent from the house most of the time, going to all their usual info plugs, searching for any underground whispers. Any mention of any future plans from opposing families. They return occasionally to check in, but then they are gone again by morning.

Jongho has been doubling on all security around me, monitoring all bodyguards, especially the ones closest to me, when he isn't able to be by me. If it was up to him, he'd sleep in my room, but I wouldn't allow it.

Mingi has been working the hardest though. Every single family member, inner and outer, has been receiving more training, harder practices, weapon training, everything under the sun. He's also been in communication with sellers to get us as much weapon power as possible. He's even been giving me one-on-one lessons in everything possible.

I've been overseeing it all, making sure that everyone is not only safe and prepared, but also mentally fit and capable.

Everything was going smoothly. Almost too smoothly. There was nothing coming from the Neo family. Nothing from any of the other families in the nearby area.

Nothing at all.
