"Miss, you will be arriving shortly," says the flight attendant assigned by The Frame.
I nod as I stare out the window of the plane. As soon as we land, I'll be in a foreign place that was supposed to be my home.
What even is the definition of home anyways. All I know is that the Frame Five sure as hell wasn't.
It was an endless cycle there. I woke up. Trained. Ate. Trained. And slept a bit before starting all over again. Everyday, we trained until death was knocking at our door. Some of us did die. We weren't always the Frame Five, there were ten of us. When we were 10, we had to spar one another until one died. It was kill or be killed.
I killed my favorite person. Number 6.
It was a shame. I liked her.
I snap out of my thoughts when I see that the plane has landed. The real game starts now.
"Miss Yunji, it is a pleasure to meet you," says a buff looking dude. "My name is Seongha Park, I'm apart of the awakener organization that will be taking care of you."
"Likewise." I reply. I then noticed a lean boy standing besides him. "Who's he?" I ask, pointing at him.
"Hey punk I'm a girl." she says annoyed while pointing her at herself.
"Subin." Seongha says sternly while giving her the "don't make trouble" look.
"Ah so you must be Subin Lee from the Union. I apologize." I say.
"Yeah yeah whatever." Subin says while texting on her phone.
I don't like her attitude. But I put a small smile on my face anyways.
"I've heard about you. They say you're strong for your age. Wanna spar when we get back?" I ask.
She perks up from her phone with a smirk. "I like you," she says.
Seongha Park sighs. "There will be no such thing today. The president would be upset about this Subin."
"It's fine." I said. "I've been sitting down for so long that I think my ass deflated."
That Subin girl chatted away in the car and it was surprisingly okay... in a blink of an eye, we arrived at the Union.
