When we finally get to the sparring room (the Union workers helped put my stuff away), I see three boys waiting and two... cats?

Dumbfounded, I blankly stare.

Subin notices me staring at the odd looking cat duo. "Ah those are Jiwoo's cats, he can communicate with them so they come wherever we go," she says.

I turn to the cute looking boy nearest to the cats, "so you must be Jiwoo."

"Yep! I'm Jiwoo Seo." He then points to the guy with his arms crossed, obviously not paying attention, "and that's Jisuk, the younger brother of the chairwoman of Shinhwa."

"I'm Wooin," says the third guy with glasses. Our eyes meet. Something about him... is familiar.

But it might be because I'm not used to seeing other Koreans. "Nice to meet you guys, I'm 3."

The four give me confused looks.

"Ah, sorry I'm used to going by my assigned number from Frame Five. My name is Yujin."

I noticed Wooin physically tensing as I introduced myself.

"Yujin! How old are you?" Jiwoo asks all friendly.

"I'm 16."

"EHH??" Subin yells. "Gosh you're two years younger. I thought you were our age or older."

"Ah. Should I address you as Subin Unnie?" I asked. (In Korean, there are titles when addressing people of different ages)

Subin blushes from being embarrassment, "you can do whatever..." she mumbles.

"Then Subin Unnie, shall we get to sparring?" I smirk.

Both of us stand our ground on the sparring floor. Jisuk grabs popcorn out of thin air and Jiwoo is sitting down besides the cats.

Two people I've never seen before also walk in before our match. A man in a green suit that is carrying cat treats accompanies a pretty woman.

Besides them, Seongha Park stands in the middle of the room as the judge.

BEEP!

SHING! 4 blades of ice head towards my head. Damn starting off strong I guess.

Breaking the wall dun DUN DUNNN:

If you're wondering what my power is... I guess I should let you guys know. It's.. yeah telekinesis. I wonder why 🧐 Because of the force control and techniques I learned, I have a very different combat style from Wooin. (No she doesn't know she's his sister yet but yeah) Instead of exploding my energy, I use it on myself to amplify my close combat attacks. (Ex. Forcing body to move quicker or make kicks super powerful) However, I actually excel in distant attacks and use the infamous cutting style seen by a lot of the Frame members.

Back to reality:

I activate my power to quickly dodge the blades. Then, I use my telekinesis to send them right back at a even faster speed.

"Ack!" Subin winces and holds her side. She wasn't lucky enough to dodge all 4 and one cut pretty deep.

"Is that all you got?" I teased.

"'Nope, just getting warmed up." Subin smirks as she freezes the floor and ceiling. Large icicles from the ceiling begin to fall.

A couple cut me.

"I wonder how she'll get out of this," whispered Jiwoo. He was so intrigued by the spar as he could tell she was super powerful already.

CRACK. CRACK.

I quite literally begin to lift the entire floor of ice with my ability.

"What the fu-" SMASH!

Using my telekinesis, I split the floor and smashed it into each other another, trapping Subin in between like meat in a taco.

I hope that didn't kill her.

SLICE! A bloody Subin emerges from the icy mess and cut deep into my shoulder with an ice dagger.

Hah. Hah. Subin breathes heavily. I take note that her side and arm look completely busted.

"Hey Yujin! Let's wrap this up," she yells

"I thought you'd never ask," I reply back.

Both of us gather our energy from a distance.

I can feel the tense eyes from the room on us as we send our attacks towards one another.

KABOOM! Both of us are sent backwards by the force of the explosion. CRACK! Subin hits the wall behind her while I stand my ground by mustering the power left in me.

Subin looks up and scoffs, "the hell? you're insanely strong," she says.

"I could say the same for you," I smile as I offer my hand to help her up.

PING! Pain shoots through my heart. "ACK!" I double down to the floor, my hand grasping my uniform. Damn it. I overdid it.

"Hey!" Subin yells in surprise. "Are you okay?" she asks.

Cough. Blood splatters onto the concrete floor below me. I squeeze my uniform tightly before forcing myself to stand up and face Subin in embarrassment.

"It's nothing," I said as I wipe the blood from my mouth. "That was a good match, I had fun."

"You two, go to the healer right now," says Seongha Park.

"No." I said firmly.

"What?" Seongha was taken aback by my decline. The entire room looked confused actually. I mean, who says no to a healer?

"Hey, our healers are great you know," muttered Subin.

"Punk, don't think you'll look tough by not getting healed," said Jisuk as he munched on the popcorn.

"It's not that... I just don't feel comfortable... uh... wasting your resources." I ramble.

"Are you.. looking down on the Union." Subin asked in a stern voice.

Why is this so hard.

Another wall break to fill you in on information:

The reason I can't be seen by a healer is because they'll figure out my weakness. I was born with a deformed core. When I was younger, it caused me a lot of pain and illness. However, now that I'm older, it doesn't affect me as much. With that said, overusing my powers causes severe damage to my own body. My power is basically a double edge sword. If enemies were to find out about this, it could easily end my life. My heart is most affected by my condition and it could instantly kill me if I were to exceed my limits.

Back to the awkward situation:

I sighed. I mean I don't think they would try to kill me once they find out about it so whatever.

"Fine. I'll go." I said.
