Chapter three: Friends or more ?

Two years later I become best friends with Jungkook and Jimin. We played hide and seek and they brought me breakfast every morning. After two years we started to train together. I learn some defense but mostly I learn about combat. In two days it is my birthday but not only that it was going to be two years ago that I lost my family and my home. I didn't feel alone anymore. I got two amazing new friends that I started to trust with my heart now. That feeling I got two years ago when I grabbed Jungkook's hand started to grow much stronger over the years. I still dont know why I feel that for him. I try to talk about it with luca but everytime I ask she didn't wanted to talk about it. After I ask that I didn't hear from luca since that day. It started to get really quiet in my head and I didn't like it. Not hearing from luca for two years made me sad but also very scared. She was the one that was there when I felt lonely. When I felt scared she calmed me down. When I had a nightmare she always said that it's okay and that she will protect me from it. The nights get lonely but I knew in the morning Jimin and Jungkook would stand underneath my tree. They started to become my whole world. The sun was already starting to come up when I opened my eyes. I slowly stretch my body. My body already recovered from all the cuts I had. I was ready to start my day. The days will be full of playing and practicing defends and combat. After my stretches I started to climb down out of the tree. I started to walk to the little stream of water to wash my body and get something to drink. My walking got slower and slower when I came closer to the stream. When I was so close to it I saw that the water was not clear anymore. The water was blood red and it was coming from deep in the woods. The smell of blood pierced through my nose. I looked around to see where it came from or if I saw someone. After looking around for a couple of minutes I didnt see any thing. The woods was very quiet. Slowly but carefully I walked up the stream. The redder the water became the smell of blood became heavier. When I came to the end of the stream my heart started to pound so loud that I could hear my own heartbeat. Fear started to take over my body when I saw where the blood came from. At the end of the stream of water lays a wolf. My eyes started to water. As fast as I could run I ran towards the wolf that layed there. I checked if the wolf was still breathing. When I put my hand almost against his nose I hold my breath. The colors on my face started to disappear. My heart started to beat faster and faster. I saw a big cut in his neck and belly and his tail was cut off. I started to see red and everything in my body started to boil. I felt Luca started to push through. The anger started to take control and I knew it  was Luca that was trying to take over the control of my body. I started to close my eyes and try to calm down. I opened my eyes and looked at my hands. What I saw scared me so much that I couldn't breath. My nails started to turn in to claws and my hands started to look a little like paws. I never transformed before because I am to young turn in too a wolf. Normal wolfs turn when they are 18. I screamed when I felt a sharp pain going through my whole body. I was forced to fall on my hands and knees. I grabbed my cheek because inside my mouth started to hurt. I felt my teeths turning into big K9's. My bones started to crack and tried to get to a diffrent shape. "Please stop Luca. What is happening to me. It hurts Luca. I am really scared please calm down". I started to cry. The pain became unbearable and I wanted it to stop. It felt like a million knives going through my body and leaves cuts inside and out. "Dont get scared. Let me take over. The person who killed this wolf needs to pay for what he did. We are the Queen of wolfs. That wolf there who was killed is part of us. Part of our pack. It all started with us. We are the first wolf ever been born". Luca's voice for the first time made me scared. I never felt this fear form her. The anger was so much that I slowly gave in and let Luca take control. I started to scream again because the pain started to feel like fire all over my body. I looked at my hands that were paws now. Fur started to come through my skin. Long thick white Fur started to coming through my skin. My fur looked amazing but I couldn't stay happy for a long time before the pain came back. Slowly I started to see black before my eyes. I knew that Luca was in control now. I could still hear everything but everything around me is darkness. I slowly stopped fighting Luca and gave her control. When I almost let go I hear someone scream. "Katherine don't give in. Don't give your wolf the control. You need to calm down". "It has nothing to do with you. Stay out of it". The voice of Luca coming out of my mouth was aggressive and full with anger. "This is not you Katherine. You are kind and sweet. Your smile makes everyone feel warm inside. You are not a person to hate or get angry". I still didn't know who the voice was. I started to concentrate on the voice. Who was it and why  didn't I hear any fear in his voice for Luca. "I am not Katherine!. I am not sweet and kind. I am a wolf that protects whatever it cost. Even if I have to kill for it. I protect my kind and I will destroy the person who killed this wolf". I felt that my body started to shape itself into a wolf. I started to fight to get back control. I felt myself getting a little control back. I looked around me and when I looked into the water I saw that my eyes turned from blue to purple. Behind me I heard a tree brance snap. "Get away from me or I will kill you too. I don't care how much Katherine likes you two. Dont get involved in werewolf business". I hear that Luca's voice got more angry when the footsteps came closer. The more we looked at the dead wolf in front of us the more aggressive Luca gets.
"Katherine come back. You are the only person who can calm your wolf down. If you don't she will lose control. You are  too young to shift. Please calm down I am here to help you". After the scream of that person I felt a hand on my shoulder. A warm feeling started to come from my shoulder. I fight with Luca for control of my body. When I got more control over my body I turned my head. When I looked into those brown beautifull eyes I knew who it was. It was Jungkook. For some reason I started to calm down and felt our anger change into sadness. Slowly the transformation stopped and I felt my body change back. Our paws started to change back to hands again. The beautifull white fur slowly got back in to my skin and after couple seconds my skin was back to normal. I felt that slowly Luca started to get to the back of my mind and started to calm down. I got all the control again. I hear a soft cry. It came from Luca she was sorry but also sad about the wolf. I could understand her. When I looked at Jungkook I saw Jimin standing behind him. They both smiled at me and I felt calm again.
I looked back at the dead wolf. Seeing the wolf made me cry and I felt tears rolling down my cheeks. I couldn't stand up. My legs feel so heavy. I felt two hands on my back . I looked up and saw Jimin on my right side and Jungkook on my left side. "Why would they kill an innocent". I almost screamed those words. I started to get up slowly. I walked towards the wolf. I closed his eyes because they still were open and you still saw the fear in his eyes. I looked around me for a good spot. I found a beautiful spot underneath a tree. I walk towards the tree and started to dig through the ground and snow. I hear someone walk towards me . Jungkook and Jimin started to dig next to me. When the hole was big enough for the wolf we walked towards the wolf. We lifted the wolf up and slowly walked towards the hole. We lay him in the hole slowly and start filling the hole with ground and snow. I started to look around for some stones and after ten minutes I found a couple of good rocks. I slowly lay the rocks on the ground into a heart shape. Looking at the wolfs grave made my tears come down again. Slowly I started to speak softly. "Go in peace. May you run free with no fear". I got back on my feet. I looked for one last time and let out a big howl. If we lose one of our kind we let out a big howl to let people know a wolf past away. After that I slowly walked back to the tree not wanting to be social today. Halfway back to the tree someone grabbed my hand. I looked at my hand and back up to the person who grabbed my hand. It was Jungkook who grabbed my hand. He slowly said "I wish you never saw these kind of things". I looked at him and something snapped in me . "Never saw this?. You think I don't know how this world is. I saw the people I loved die infront of my eyes. You think I am a girl that had it easy I lost everything I ever had in one night". Jungkook looked at me with a shocked face. This was the first time I opened up to someone. I looked back at the ground. "I know what it's like. Kill or get killed. The strongest wins over the weak. Thats why I try to be smarter so I don't get killed". "You don't have to be scared anymore. We will protect you. We are with seven who you will meet one day when you are ready". Jungkook came closer and slowly he gave me a kiss on my cheek. "Stupid mate ruined everything for me". I hear Luca cursing in my head. I looked at Jungkook with fear. Is he really my mate ?.
