Understanding the meaning behind Nani's words she apologised to her. She gathered some courage to go to Kartavya and ran towards their bedroom.

As she reached there she saw something which broke her heart into millions of pieces. Her man whom she loved with all her heart is crying holding her picture. Asking for her forgiveness for the crime he didn't do.
"Karr…Kartavya" came out as a whisper but he heard it. His shoulders became stiff and he turned around to look at her. Before she could say in her defence or apologise for what she did he said
"Bhavya, do you remember the day when we got married and you entered this house as my wife?"
She nodded her head but couldn't stop sheding tears of regret.
He continued "That day, I took an oath to always protect you, give you all the love I have for you. I promised to myself that I won't let you shed a tear, even by mistake but I guess I failed to protect you from the insecurities which I built with my negligence."
This is the last string and she went to hug him like her life depends on him.

It became difficult for her to form words properly but she said in her hoarse voice " I'm…..I'm sorry. I..I love (hiccups) y…you so ... .much, that even (hiccups)...a…thought of you with some…someone else (hiccups) made me go all irrational."
His hands came to entangle her arms which were locked around his shoulders.
She resisted a bit but after sometime she gave up and looked at him apologetically. He smiled at her and cupped her face in his large palms and placed his lips on her forehead. He lingered his lips there for a little while.

Few seconds passed but no one said anything. He knelt down and placed a kiss on her stomach. She went numb with his action and her mind became dizzy at the thought of how he got to know about this.
He slid her saree aside and placed his hand over her tummy
"I'm sorry for making your mumma cry"
he said apologetically. Shifting his gaze up he smiled broadly and explained to her
"I saw the pregnancy kit on the counter top when I went to take a bath."
This made her cry more, kneeling herself down buried her face in his chest, he held her tight and started to draw small circles at her back.
"I know it's my fault that I couldn't give you enough time like before. But I swear on my unborn child. Avya, I never cheated on you and I never will." He consoled her.
Bhavya's eyes not wavering on any other side she kept looking at him like, he's the only person she wants to see till her last breath. Then she opened her petal like lips and said those words which were running in her mind "Can I ask you something?" He looked at her for a second and nodded his head. Red hue crept on her cheeks and she asked hesitantly "Did you like me from college days?"
He shook his head and her heart sank but Kartavya's laughter reverberated the room. He pulled her close to him and placed a kiss on her earlobe and said huskily "I didn't like you, I loved you and will always love you. I know I lied to you about our marriage because I don't want to present myself as a creep who stalks girls. It could've given you a wrong impression about me. So, I kept it a secret from you. That's all."
After clearing all the misunderstandings they both decided to share this good news with everyone.
