Chapter 3 - Prove it

After first period I went to my class and sat at my usual seat

I think I still had a bit of luck cause Mateo is a senior meaning i don't share ANY class with him

I sat beside a boy named Benjamin ,He was a pretty nice guy who respected my boundaries and religion though he was a Christian

"Hi Benjamin" I said with a smile as I sat down

He was one of the few people in this school and probably in the whole universe that I didn't hate

"Hi Zahra" He said returning back the smile

"I heard about you and Mateo so are you like a thing now?" He asked

I groaned "NEVER ,We could Never be a thing Ever , I'm a Muslim so I can't date him and even if I wasn't a Muslim I still wouldn't date him"

"Is he THAT bad?"

"Worse than you could imagine" I said

"Then I'll just have to take your word for it" He said and chuckling

And I smiled

The teacher came in and class started

I went to my locker to get my Books for the next class

"Hey Pikachu"

I took my Books and Slammed the Locker , Okay he was starting to get really irritating now

I walked away from him

"Pikachu come back" he Yelled and Everyone in the hallway started looking at me

Why Just Why ,Why Me I thought and cursed silently

I hastened my pace and practically ran to my next class, I think I gotta transfer to a new school or something cause I can't take anymore of this

Mateo"s POV

I watched her run away and smirked in amusement , It was so fun to annoy her

I chuckled lightly and went to meet my friends

"Hey Guys"

They were all looking at me weirdly

"What? Do I have something on my face?"

"Are you seriously dating the Hijabi" Travis asked

I burst out laughing

"Are you guys serious , You really think my taste is that Low" I asked

"Then why are you always around her" Nathan asked

"Guys you're thinking to much ,Its just fun to annoy her that's all"

"If you really don't like her then prove it" Liam said with a smirk

"How?"

I had a sick feeling in my stomach at what I was about to do , Could I really do this

Zahra's POV

School ended about 2 minutes ago so the hall was still crowded , I was putting my Books back in my locker when I saw Mateo walking towards me

He looked like he was deeply thing about something then he stood right in front of me

"Mateo if you're thinking of annoying me again then you better-" I paused as I looked at his face

I felt a sense of danger as I looked at him

Something was definitely up , He was about to do something and I had a feeling I wasn't gonna like it
